Teague and Hill got same deal (although Hill's last year not fully guaranteed). While I like Holiday as a player, it is apparent that Demps overpaid again. Not having cap flexibility painted him into a corner.
It's only apparent to the depressed emos that have infested this website. Looking at BOTH talent slots below and above where most project Holiday, he got paid exactly what he should.
And of course, Holiday got paid nothing like the depressed emo rumors (treated as forgone conclusions of course) that he was about to get paid 28 - 35 mil. Yet, here we go again. One :(:( comparing Holidays contract to Darren Collison. My god.
People forget that Hill could have signed the extension for 24m but thought he could get more.
The market dried up on him. He bet wrong.
The thing to keep in mind is, Hill was the one that got screwed because everyone else came to terms early. If the Pels were still in the market for a PG then Hill would have gotten substantially more money because of multiple teams bidding.
Lowry and Jrue look like the smartest players since they came to terms quick. It also dried the market out because Teague and Mills agreed to deals immediately and the final nail in the coffin was Utah trading for Rubio.
Word is Jamal Crawford is seeking a buyout and the Warriors are highly interested in pursuing him if that happens.
For our chances at Nick Young notably improving, I hope that happens...And soon.
Didn't realize Ben McLemore signed with the Grizzlies.
Was wondering why we hadn't been connected to him. OH well.
Free-agent Gordon Hayward plans to sign with the Boston Celtics, league sources tell ESPN.

Sacramento is doing work and doing it good.We... oh well.No words on Dell & Co.
Assuming reports are correct of Hayward joining BOS & for the max, the Celtics will have to renounce all FAs AND trade someone also.

Marcus Smart, come on down!

I guess that means we are getting Smart.
Finally a good player leaves the West!
I'm looking for the Pelicans to have Smart move coming up.

The Utah Jazz are still waiting to be told of Gordon Hayward's intentions, league source tells ESPN. Hayward hasn't told them his plans yet.

Another Warriors target revealed as they try to bolster bench: They're in talks with free agent Omri Casspi, I'm told.

Down goes Utah, Down goes Utah!!!!
Okay. Strap in. Told by a source w/knowledge of the process that Gordon Hayward has NOT made a decision yet & is still in the process. FWIW.

With Jamal Crawford and now Omri Casspi popping up on the Warriors radar, I have to wonder(wishful think) that means Nick Young may be leaning elsewhere.
Danny Ainge is probably smiling right now...
Gordon Hayward's agent, Mark Bartelstein, tells ESPN: "Gordon hasn't made a decision yet. We are still working through it."

Gordon Hayward's agent, Mark Bartelstein, is indeed saying he hasn't made decision yet. Meanwhile, Celtics celebrating his alleged decision.

This offseason has more excitement and drama than the playoffs and finals combined.
Pretty clear they're looking for a bench shooter, which signals plenty about the unlikelihood of Ian Clark's return https://t.co/GUsTYf2l8q

Another league source says Boston hasn't heard yet directly from Hayward. Again: doesn't mean he cant pick Cs later; he just hasn't yet.
— David Aldridge (@daldridgetnt) July 4, 2017
My guess: Hayward picked the C's, word got out without the Jazz knowing, and they're trying to walk it back so he can tell the Jazz "first."

I think he's Boston bound. Just wanted to announce it.
Dude needs to reevaluate who is in his inner circle if they're out here leaking crap.
