I would trade Ingram in an instant if we could get back a really good scorer and a proper 3 and D wing
If neither Ingram or Zion care about defense at the 3/4, that's a real problem
Ingram + Kira + picks for Dame and RoCo somehow

You dont trade Ingram now for two 50 cent pieces. He is the chip you trade eventually for the major upgrade.
If Lillard were available, you would have a better chance getting him with Ingram as the centerpiece than if you had that scorer and 3-and-D guy you are talking about.
While those guys might help you win more regular season games next year (I emphasize might), they dont get you closer to landing the major piece. You keep Ingram until that day comes, and who knows, maybe he develops in areas that compliment Zion
Everyone should have a price...EVERYONE!!! In the end, his best value to the Pelicans will probably be as a trading chip, IMO.
BTW: Phoenix was not a quick change contrary to your diatribe. The core has been around for four years or longer (Booker - 6 Years, Ayton - 4 years, Bridges - 4 years).
2 years under GM . First time EVER A TEAM THAT DID NOT MAKE PLAYOFFS LAST SEASON have made Finals this season.

Hell look at Atlanta Hawks have done once they CHANGED COACH
Apparently no one can comprehend?
I literally said Ingram and filler for Dame and RoCo
If we didn't have to give up NAW and Jax, that would be fantastic
I'm guessing Portland would start with Ingram, NAW and Jax and various 1sts
I could live with Ingram and NAW and 10 going out
Ingram wallpaper removed off pelicans.com ? Well at least they have new Zion wallpaper
2 years ago, the Phoenix Suns finished with the worst record in the West.

James Jones finally made it to the NBA Finals without LeBron. pic.twitter.com/VYsE3HFIVV

3 years for bridges and Ayton. 13-3 for some reason gives James Jones credit for drafting Bridges even though by that point he'd been a non GM executive for all of like 2 days.
Phx definitely has been a mixed bag. Monty, Cam Johnson and Payne were good moves
CP chose PHX and recruited crowder so you cant give much credit there
They got bad value for Warren, but def an argument to be made for addition by subtraction
Dario signing was not so hot
Jalen Smith over Halibuton is yikes and is only going to look worse as time goes on. He was the perfect fit there too.
Definitely an above average record. But the core of the roster has nothing to do with James Jones.

Again if you want to use the 5 to 10 year thing look at them. NOW LOOK AT US. ONE IS IN THE FINALS THE OTHER IS ABOUT TO LOSE ITS 3rd hall of famer in 10 years.
Need to strike gold this season.
Don’t want to give Jones credit oh wait lol it gets even better

You’re boy Bowers is going to Finals
Another way to look at it we had the tools and we kicked it to the curb. Yes Dell Demps was much to blame.
Good for the Suns and James Jones, seeing the Heat last year, and the Suns this year turning things around, the level of heat on the chair Griff is sitting in has to be turned up to high at this point. I don?t care if the coach he hires is a first year or a retread, if we don?t make the playoffs next year Griff can kiss grits somewhere else. This team simply can not miss the playoffs and he keeps his job, it would be a horrible message to the fan base.
Accolades and media don't mean anything. Dennis Lindsey was 2nd in Exec of the year voting and had to step down in Utah. Sean marks was 3rd for being handed Harden and buyout guys I guess???? The Shamet move didn't amount to much.
The media is pretty dumb and just pretty much sees record and doesnt actually think about things so yea you'll need better arguments than bloggers.
The moves speak for themselves as I've outlined them. and definitely grade out as a mixed bag.
And David Griffin finished 2nd in 2015...
We going to lose the good assistants out in the field too.
The Lakers are finalizing a deal to hire former Knicks and Grizzlies coach David Fizdale as an assistant coach, sources tell ESPN.
— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) June 30, 2021
Fizdale had been pursued for several lead assistant openings this off-season and will now join Frank Vogel’s staff with the Lakers. Fizdale was a longtime Miami Heat assistant who helped coach LeBron James under Erik Spoelstra.

That’s the least of their worries. The assistants they have now are decent. Well, besides the ones Stan brought. Griff is the big issue. We know that he just hired someone that clearly did not have the same philosophy as he did from the very start. That makes me really concerned about him hiring the next coach. I’m not very confident in his ability to lead this organization.
I?ve heard people talk about trading to get SGA. Just curious, why would OKC let their future superstar go to us?

Pacers move up 3 spots and get Kira in a Brogdon for Bledsoe swap.

Do the Pacers need more? How much more? pic.twitter.com/X9B0yJhLgZ
Not sure what the incentive is for Pacers to do that deal.
Wonder why NAW ain't getting any looks at the starting PG spot. Dude balls out when he gets minutes.
Disagree. I think he’s a shooting guard who can give some minutes at the point, but his ball handling, decision making and first step are not what you want in a full time starting PG. More to the point, NAW doesn’t see himself as a true lead guard…
Let’s remember that NAW is young and barely has gotten minutes. Some of those bad decisions you work out as you get older and more experience. If only we had a coach that would have played him over Bledsoe lol
I'm not saying he's ready now by any means. I'm saying that being a PG is more fluent and natural to him with his game. Of course it'll take much seasoning to get to lead guard point. With Zo it seems more forced for him to be the lead guard as we've seen many times before. He was being decent at one point but as Hornetguru stated, it'll come with experience.
If Cleveland really wants out of 3rd pick in draft should we give them Ingram and #10 for it?
