I was thinking the same thing Eman... I guess as a Saints/Pels fan its in our blood to always think "playerX" doesn't like us.

Point is you know Dell is working to make this a possibility.

It may be a serious mortage of the future, but its possible. AT LEAST the 2019 & 2021 picks have to go.

We had Buddy and a 2017 lottery pick. Those were assets. Now you can argue about how valuable those assets were, but they clearly had value. And let's not forget it was Sacramento we were dealing with.

Maybe George would like to play here :) With him IMO we would have second best starting five in the whole NBA. That might be appealing to him :)

I'd argue it rivals GS and CLE. Jrue/ETM/PG13/AD/Boogie would be nightmarish defensively as you can stick Moore on the weakest perimeter player or start QPon in his place (if he ever returns) when we play GS.

If you throw in a third or fourth team and are willing to send out the 2019, 2021, and 2023 1sts with light protections you open up some possibility. Whoever receives the picks could be allured by the fact that the pells could SUCK if PG13 and Boogie leave summer 2019. It is not totally unfeasible because this team is not guaranteed past 2019.

No, we had a 2016 #6 overall pick and a 2017 pick along with a large expiring. We have nothing at all by bad contracts to offer now.

I hope you are right. I agree about his personality. My questions is if Gentry will give up his favourite system and develop a perfect one for fire and ice :)

Of course Hield was an asset. Why wouldn't he be? What we have left is mostly bad contracts and marginal players. Those will not get you a top player.

How fast everything changed. We are exceptionally great at 4 and 5 (at this moment our back ups in Jones and DeMo are very solid). Surprisingly with Hill and Casspi we are solid at SF (considering how the roster is built now). Our PG position is great too (Holiday has played great recently and Frazier is not such a bad second unit point guard). Our weekest position seems to be SG but unlike SF where Dell always struggled to find a decent player he was always good at finding decent SGs (RIP Bryce Dejean-Jones)
