Here's an idea, why don't 12 or so of us join a fantasy league next year. I'll gladly run it. I'm a fantasy sports addict.

I'd be down, I've gotten in to fantasy for just about every sport.

I've never done NBA, but I assume it operates closely with NHL, which I've played a few times.

H2H matchups can be kind of brutal with just categories. Points is making a comeback though thankfully, which imo is better. Depth doesn't really do much for you in H2H categories, whereas in a points scoring system depth is valuable. That's my only rationale. If you're main shot blocker or pick pocket gets hurt, you'd be lucky to win any weeks without them. It's a massive disadvantage.

So where are we?

I believe we are waiting on pick #157 from the Bobcats. I have already sent in my choices to Beeball for who I want after that.

As long as you don't suck as a commish like one of the other guys on here... dude started a league and then took over a couple teams and traded all the best players for scrubs. Was total horse crap

Nah. I've been a part of league like that. I'd like to have a fair and balanced league. I'd be interested in a keeper league (if they do that for nba) if people enjoy themselves next season.

I personally think we should go to 10 players, atleast fill out a rotation. We just need to do a better job of making sure people remember that they're even participating. I've pm'd so many people that had no idea they were up because they weren't following it anymore.

Ariza took on a lesser role this season for Washington and it showed, as he shot a career high (and a very solid) 36% from beyond the arc. But the real reason he's the selection for my team is because he is still one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA. He slides under the radar because he doesn't play for a playoff team like the other "top" defenders do, but he posted an excellent 0.76 points per play overall while allowing just 34.5% shooting and 0.77 points per player in the pick and roll while allowing 34.6% shooting. Arizas length, athleticism, and iq also allows him to be one of the best perimeter players at defending the post and also rotating and contesting shots.

Ariza was 1 of the 3 guys I was choosing from... Horrible pick!

Jonas is a great young C and was a productive player this year for the Raptors. He is the best C left on the board and I feel he is a good compliment to Larry Sanders.
