Hornets Report Redraft 2013 draft thread

Apparently it's only 8 rounds then a lame "First come first serve" signing, which makes no sense considering all the trades that were made earlier. It's just pointless.

yah the first come first serve after round 8 is a bad idea. makes this pointless.

I finally get two early picks in a round again and we're going to do a "free for all" for those rounds...

I thought it wasnt even the magic's pick. It says that it was traded to the bobcats.

I think just making it a 3 hour limit and actually simming after that limit works.

It's your pick.

You dont need to use 2k to sim it everytime, just give them the first player that off the top of your head lol. Saves a lot of time and gets this thing moving faster.

How about once the time limits up someone else just picks for that guy then we move on.

So say 247 misses his pick, and ballsohard is on, then ballsohard will just pick for 247's team and we'll move on.

I know because I nearly selected for Soundwave about 5 times (he's the celts I'm the raptors) then it really threw me off when we swapped picks in few rounds.

How about after 3 hours the guy gets skipped and the next person gets to pick. I'll sim the skipped picks at the next chance I get.

Me too. I keep looking for Raptors to see when I pick.

With the next pick in the draft, the Pacers take Bradley Beal to team with John Wall. Beal has flat taken off since Wall's return and showed the talent people saw in him when he was taken high in last year's draft.

NY Knicks Select SG: Vince Carter

Vince was downright awesome this year and had his best year in a long time. He will give my team a solid shooter and great 6th man off the bench.

I think it's my pick and I think Robin Lopez is available. I choose him. Hope the homers vote for me. In all seriousness I like the second unit already with Lin and Lopez

I didn't jump the gun. They put a 3 hr time limit on picks because no one was participating. I actually waited til the end of my pick to do it anyways. I'm just trying to move this along a little. Sorry if I offended anyone.

This is never gonna finish..If people miss their pick I would just skip them immediately for the rest of the draft until they make up the pick like I did last year

No but you are up in the rookie one. I try to PM when I can. All I takes is someone to check every now and then. We have less than half of the rosters as well. People just don't care as much now that we are only dealing with bench players.
