I call that bluff as soon as that 4/$112 contract got put out. Them passing up a $30 player option and only get offer 3/$60 is already a telling sign of his worth.
So, if 3/60 is floor. Why should any team try to go above it. Then, they try to throw that deal out of the window by public airing out that they wouldn't go back to Boston.
Which is an idiotic thing to do is take bidders off the table. So, all these team probably baulk at the 112 offer or decide to wait out this 112 bluff at 6pm. It completely back fired in his agent's face.
