DONCIC SINKS THE BUZZER BEATER FROM 30 FEET TO WIN
43 POINTS TO SNATCH THE GAME FROM THE CLIPPERS AND TIE IT AT 2-2 ON THE SERIES
WOOOOOW
After Oscar Robertson and Barkley, Luka becomes the third player in NBA history to record a 40/15/10 game in the playoffs.
He's the only one to ever record 43/17/13, which is what he had.
Did it on 58.1% shooting, and hit the buzzer beater go home shot in overtime.
This is real time legacy establishment. Luka is on a path to all-time-great status, and he is 21 years old. I was too young to watch early career Lebron: by the time I was into basketball, he was already in Miami. But I imagine this is what watching him must have been like.
I have never been wowed by Lebron the way I’ve been with Luka. Doncic is scary.
I think the difference is (based on watching old Lebron games back) that Doncic is the best offensive player at his age, maybe ever. But Lebron's defense at 21 was so much better than Doncic's that it's unbelievable, and so as an overall player Lebron was probably slightly better at 21 despite Doncic being the superior offensive player.
But the fact that we're even having this conversation is insane.
Paul George: “To be honest, in hindsight, if I shoot the ball better, this series would be a lot different.”

This is the funniest thing he could have possibly said.

That's the 3rd best performance in a playoff game in the play-by-play era, edging out performances by both Kawhi *and* Paul George, now at #4 and #5.

I don't understand this stat so I can't say if it's any good or not but still, this just sounds impressive.
Dallas is now tied 2-2 with the Clippers in a 4 game series where
- Porzingis, their second best player, has missed a game and a half.
- Luka was injured in game 3 and could barely play in the second half.
- Maxi Kleber (a 38% 3pt shooter on 4+ a game in the regular season and major rotation piece for Dallas) has shot 1/16 from 3.
- Kawhi has been excellent.
If Porzingis and Doncic can stay healthy, and Kleber can go back to anything like normal, I could see Dallas stealing this series.
How insane is that?
This kid is.... indescribably good
Paul George so far this series, through 4 games:
Game 1: 27/2/3 on 10/22 shooting (45.5%), 4/11 from 3 (36.4%), 3/3 from the FT line (100%).
Game 2: 14/10/2 on 4/17 shooting (23.5%) 2/10 from 3 (20%), 4/4 from the FT line (100%).
Game 3: 11/9/7 on 3/16 shooting (18.8%), 1/8 from 3 (12.5%), 4/4 from the FT line (100%).
Game 4: 9/8/3 on 3/14 shooting (21.4%), 1/7 from 3 (14.3%), 2/2 from the FT line (100%).
Averages: 15.3/7.3/3.8 on 27.3% from the floor, 20.8% from 3, 100% from 3.
In-freakin-credible.
His TS% is about 41% right now. League average this year was 56% ish. He's actually averaging fewer points per 36 than Marcus Morris.
Start calling him Pandemic P.

Toronto took care of business. Now lets open up the Jrue Holiday trade lines.

You actually don't. I've talked about it before in other threads and I won't go into it too much here because it's the wrong thread, but you don't actually have to trade Jrue at all. If you get the right deal, go for it, but we're under zero obligation to move him. If the Nets can't make a good enough deal, you don't move him.
Gobert trying a three sixty scoop layup lol. Almost an airball
Jokic just faked Gobert into oblivion for the dunk
