Couldn't we just buy out RJ's contract?
Couldn't we just buy out RJ's contract?
only way a trade from gs is acceptable is if they give us thompson, barnes, rush and 1st for gordon other than that we just do better with gordon and building our team thru the draft and one more free agent .
Don't know how many, if any follow CBS Eye on Basketball podcast but apparently one of the topics today is EGs Value. Haven't listened to it yet, just wanted to give a heads up
The only thing I can of is that if they wait until the summer, there may be a better deal (players) out there that can serve the Hornets better. Gordon pretty much has say so right now about where he goes. Once that veto is gone he won't have that much say so. At least I don't think so. His best bet would be to play and hopefully play well so more teams would have more interest in him. Of course we would be taking a risk that he doesn't get more injured than he already has been.
Agree with the first part.
While the 2nd part is true, I don't think it plays a role. If we want to trade him to Golden State, do you really think he'll reject the deal? Heck no. Also, if he really wants out as badly as people are claiming (which I highly doubt, but whatever), then he'll approve almost any deal, so it doesn't play a role at all IMO.
What are you looking at?

or if you use this site it's even cheaper.

Are you adding in Barnes?
Gordon still has veto power even if the trade goes down, it could be crushed. Or better yet he could fail the physical
Some are willing to trade him for...

I guess they figure these might leave a better taste in their mouths than Gordon does. :hihi:
I like EG's game, but anyone who thinks he's worlds better than Thompson is probably thinking of the old Clippers EG. The dude has lost a step with his injuries and isn't really that productive anymore. Thompson is just starting to figure it out, add Barnes to that and this is a no-brainer.
