What are these facts and NBA rules compared to the jersey expertise gathered here that wants things slightly larger but has no need to actually see what that would like it or who wants trim here, or piping there, or whatever, again, without seeing it?
How DARE you!?!?!

We've got 6 official logos. I await track jackets, and hats with the lig. CCB logo needs more use.
The beak design isn't even visible from the front. Unless those jerseys really were a couple sizes too, they're goint to make a couple tweaks to the fit.
At first the uni's were kind of ho-hum to me. But I'm starting to like them a lot. Simple and sleek. I wish New Orleans was a bigger font but all and all they're nice.
Great post. Soon as I saw them I thought they looked liked the Saints', the home jersey to be exact. And I also agree with you, they are trying to build a legacy, not a trendy jersey.
Same thoughts here. Like Benson said, they are "clean" lol At first I thought the home was bland, but I now I like them more than the away. These guys know what they are doing, it'll take time(and maybe some wins) but others will come to like them also.
If you are going for simple and elegant with the uniform, they seem to break that with the "beak" as the side panels. I'd rather just straight line piping to keep with the overall straight laced theme. Brooklyn does that with just a single stripe. The Knicks have no piping at all.
Does anyone have an official or legitmate pic of the ligature that I can use for something? I found one they made at TD, but was wondering if there is another source.
Kind of annoying that this latest Grantland article couldn't just call the jerseys bland, but made them out to be a sign of all that's wrong with the creative world today.
I wish I could just ask these people who wanted the jerseys to be "gripping" and "galvanizing" to show us what they would design. Never have I seen so much symbolism attributed to a freakin' jersey.
It is at its heart only meant to differentiate between two sides. I just have to wonder at some of these people's expectations, as they seem disappointed to such a degree that I think they expected our jerseys to be somehow life-altering.
I mean, look at this:
T.S. Eliot? Good lord.Quote:
The empty feeling in your gut as you beheld the Pelicans’ uniforms was not caused by the things themselves. The jerseys were merely inoffensive, plain, meh. That stark reminder of your own mortality came from an intuitive understanding that the universe’s sole demonstrable desire is heat death, a gradual descent into entropy that’s not nearly as exciting as it sounds. See, chaos — scientifically speaking — is not wild unpredictability but absolute indistinguishability across the entire universe. T.S. Eliot was right: the world ends not with a bang, but a whimper of navy, red, and gold, with little bumps on the numbers.
Our jerseys reminded people of their own mortality. :hihi:
NBA: Where the basketball doesn't actually matter.
It seems a leap they made with the Heat death and mortality.
Tongue-in-cheek about people making such a big deal? Some act like a massive opportunity was missed, as if the jerseys can never change and some certain design would have propeled the team to whatever.
Defense wins games, but jerseys win championships.
Agree, I like the jerseys but New Orleans could be bigger.
My thoughts are I know we all love New Orleans and want it displayed proudly, but since this is a re-branding I think "Pelicans" should have been on the home jersey.
Watching the stream reveal and seeing the low resolution pics ...I gave the Jerseys a 6.5
But this site here http://solecollector.com/news/poll-w...cans-uniforms/
Made me love the jerseys! We get a better look of them. I give them a 9!
Classy, timeless, and smooth. Besides ..the alternate Jerseys will be more creative, and trendy. I love them and highly advise people to check out the hi-definition pics!
No wonder Jason Smith put Griffin on his butt. Big dude.
I still am not a fan of the jerseys, but wow the media can overreact. Our own mortality is defined by a bland jersey design; tell me more
