Wow. Nba rule was just shown that the call was the right call made. Nba official rules rule no.8 section 11.
"If a player has his hand in contact with the ball and an opponent hits the hand causing the ball to go out of bounds, the team whose player had his hand on the ball will retain possession."
Who is you guys favorite to win it all this year? Some reason I think OKC is gonna pull through IF the make it to the championship!
I know the pacers keep struggling but I think they match up well with the heat.
People overreacting about that game...
Westbrook was fouled by CP3 on that 3 point shot.... he made contact with his elbow, which constitutes a foul.
The Barnes-Jackson play.... NBA rule actually has the refs correct here.
NBA Rule 8, section II, paragraph c:
"The ball is caused to go out-of-bounds by the last player to touch it before it goes out, provided it is out-of-bounds because of touching something other than a player. If the ball is out-of-bounds because of touching a player who is on or outside a boundary, such player caused it to go out. If a player has his hand in contact with the ball and an opponent hits the hand causing the ball to go out-of-bounds, the team whose player had his hand on the ball will retain possession"
Chris Paul honestly made horrible plays and single handedly lost the game for them.
When this is a no call:

But the cp3 call is a foul it really puts into perspective to me how poorly this league is officiated. So inconsistent and so poorly done. And contrasting these things and past episodes like the Kings series makes even someone like me who shuns conspiracy theories start to wonder how this stuff continues in the fashion it does.
Lets be real, most times when Crawford shoots a three and gets a call, it really isnt a foul either. He flops and the refs call it.
CP and Blake flop quite a bit too and usually get calls.
I also remember CP not getting called for a game tying or winning three by Curry in round one.
Did anyone watch the short post-game interview with CP? Seeing him completely take responsibility for the loss made me respect him a little more. He seemed pretty down on himself and basically flat out said that he played poorly and made bad decisions down the stretch.
It's why I continue to respect him but the truth is poor officiating did in the clippers tonight. Cp3 though is the reason the refs were such a factor though. He completely fell apart in the fourth.
Without the bad calls the clippers go into overtime or hang on to the win.
You can't call the foul on Westbrook then completely ignore this 5 seconds later:

Tonight’s games are going to suck. I do not even know why I thought a young team like the Blazers could hang with a well-oiled machine like the Spurs. Do not get me wrong, the Blazers have some amazing talent, but you can try new things and experiment against the likes of the Spurs. They will be better next year having more experience under their belt, but this is the Spurs series, unless some major injuries occur.
If you haven't seen the photo, Chris Paul definitely fouled Russell Westbrook on that 3-point shot: pic.twitter.com/AkeHElEV70

And if you look at my previous post the refs also clearly missed a foul on the final play during Chris Paul's drive.
The officiating was awful and I don't think anyone really thought he didn't foul him on that play though.

I like that defense is actually something more than simple man-to-man and that mugging and and hard fouls are mostly gone so that I can watch athletic players do their thing. 90's and early 2000's ball is ugly as all hell.
The NBA has released a statement saying refs made right call to not reverse call at end of Clippers-Thunder, citing lack of clear evidence.

honestly... I think we had the same issue in a Pelicans game this past season... and Joel explained it as "hand being part of the ball" where if the defender slaps the offensive player's hand where he has the ball and it goes OOB... then it remains w/ the offense even though the defender hit the offensive player's hand and not the ball
I thought they ruled on the floor that it was Clippers ball and reversed it after the replay?
Dam joe Johnson is eating Lebron up. Lol.
Holy ish!!! I thought wade just made Livingston tear his acl. Lmao
Man what's up with these teams collapsing in the last 2-3minutes of games.
I just knew Lebron would miss a ft. Never fails lol
And......here we go again. Lol. This is crazy how this keeps happening at the end of games with the game on the line.
Hahah, Nets couldn't do anything the last five minutes of the game.
teams I want to make it to the Finals... Pacers & Thunder
teams I think make the Finals... Heat & Spurs
Horrible call by refs giving pacers ball when George swatted it out. Then the refs starts yelling at gortat.smh..these refs are something else.
Saw that too. Right when the Wizards started getting something going the refs came to bring them back down to earth. I look forward to seeing what the Wiz do next year after a year together. Should be fun to he how many tires they blow out on some of these bandwagons.
David West will forever be my favorite guy to ever play the game. i know that sounds crazy but i always loved what he brought to this team. grit, toughness & stepped up in the biggest games. no different tonight. my favorite game ever was when he was playing with a bad back & dropped 38 on the spurs in the playoffs. all heart all the time
I prefer seeing DX win one more than CP3. DX was always playing above his ability, and I am thankful for what he did here. He worked to get where he is now.
Nick Collison mmm
Dam collison I see you buddy!!!! How many career 3s is that for him?
Okc plays too much isolation ball to win a championship IMO.
Durant is too amazing
I just noticed that if clips win then game 7 isn't until Sunday. The same day that is game 1 of the ECF. That's strange to say the least. Why a 2 day break in between this last game?
Guess that's a big IF lol..hopefully they can close them out and if they do. Does the WCF also start on Sunday?
Great play by durant to stop on a dime like that. Amazing. Horrible call before that tho on Paul. That was a ridiculously bad call lol.
The 07-08 Hornets went 7 against the Spurs. Just saying... lol
Rivers stay complaining
C'mon okc don't blow this mayne!!!
One of the best teams Chris Bawl has ever been on and still can't make it past the Western Semis.
Hehe.
