I think we may be in need of some new leadership from top to bottom.
I understand that and what I'm saying it's not 100% based on the rumors now. It's a lot of things combined now over the last 2 years from trades to draft picks to contracts. Lots of bad moves have been made. Have some good ones been made? Sure but so did the cavs gm. It just feels like a fresh start is needed in the front office and the bench. I'll always support whoever is currently here but time is def running out. When I say running out I mean results are needed by next year.
How much was he worth every other year in the league? He has had one good offensive season. He is really, just a defender/rebounder. And come on, comparing his BEST offensive season he was still nowhere near as good offensively as Chandler. He is a career 5-7-0 guy on an 8m/yr contract.
Would I take him? Yes because we are so thin at center. Would I give up any or our core 4 for him? No.
I'd love to have Asik here. For tyreke tho? No thank you
Can we please just trade gordon for an expiring and sign gordon hayward in the off-season
"The New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers are discussing a deal involving Iman Shumpert and Raymond Felton for Darren Collison. Frank Isola of the New York Daily News report that the Knicks would also acquire Reggie Bullock."
If Shumpert is going for that cheap, we should send them Rivers, Roberts and Jackson for that package....
The Gordon matching, drafting Austin rivers, trading a 1st rd pick for jarred bayless to then turn around and trade him a month later with Peja for Jarrett jack, Marcus banks, and David Andersen. Those are a few. This is the problem. He's been here since 2010. What has he done? Besides the ayon trade to Orlando for Ryno.
If your Bill Simmons, you would say the Evans trade, the Holiday trade, and getting rid of Vasquez and Lopez, and the whole CP3 to Clippers deal if you assume that the team generated that and not David Stern.
On the flip side, you could argue that $44 Million for Tyreke is worthwhile if he plays to potential, and that Jrue Holliday is worth 2 unknown draft pics because the long term success rate on NBA draft pics is not all that great, and that Demps dumped Lopez and Vasquez because no matter how cheap they were, he wanted to try to get better and to do that you have to spend money.
A person's valuing Dell Demps as a GM is all about how they view Evans and Holliday and maybe Gordon depending on your worldview as to how that all went down.
I agree. We could def do much worse that's for sure. When u say 2 unknown picks well now we can look at 1 of them and say we could of drafted Burke or mcw and the drop off is not enough to warrant 2 first rd picks. Yea it's 20/20 hindsight but that's how we judge gms moves. They are the ones being paid the big bucks to evaluate the talent and identify it. We missed on Burke and mcw for sure. I love holiday but seeing how those 2 kids are playing. I'd take either of them and our 1st rd pick this year back in a heart beat. I didn't like the Evans signing at the time only cause of how our roster was currently constructed. It's now proving right. Too many ball dominant guards. It's not working. Maybe he can right the ship and make some good moves here. We shall see.

Grade that spread sheet. It's a bunch of nothing.
Basically he took one less shot per 36 minutes and made close to the same amount. Other than that, mostly everything else was similar and that was without the best PG in the world throwing him lobs.
Is he exactly the same player? No. But he played like a 12 million dollar player last year and is not the stiff on offense that some portray him as
