Nice. Went and looked up his video and it's amazing. Shows his strengths/upside and his weaknesses with a written description then shows clips for examples.

He's going to need a couple of years to develop. I'm not sure if the staff wants another project in the backcourt at this point. They already have Rivers who needs all the attention he can get. I'll be surprised if they consider another project.
Oh that kid isn't rising to anything near our range with the draft pick we have. I just liked the video breakdown. Wish every prospect's was like that.
First impression I had was Russell Westbrook-lite, but probably only because of his extreme wingspan and the sleeves on his arms.
His shooting % is wacky. If I remember 35 FG% but 50+ 3pt%.
That's down to how 70% of the shots (or just jumpers?) are 3s.
Burke!
He needs to develop his offensive game more, but his defense is great right now. Our defense is one of the last ranked in the league, so i think that is more of a priority than drafting burke, who yes can become a great scorer, but he is not very good on the defensive end. Thats just my point of view on this discussion.
I say Burke.
I'm just going to put this here and say that Jameer Nelson and Trey Burke were extremely similar college players.

Except Burke was superior in every statistical category outside of rebounding.
Why? You can't assume Burke makes the same improvements as jameer so you have to compare them the year they declared. And I wouldnt want to compare him to jameer anyway. That's not worth a top 5 pick. You have to be projecting him to whole lot better than he is now.
There's no need to. Burke is already ahead of Nelson as a sophomore. What more do you need to know. He's simply a better prospect. The only reason why he's not well regarded is due to the fact that he was not a highly recruited prospect. Nelson would have never been anywhere close to Burke as a prospect if he declared after his sophomore year. It's that simple.
That's why he stayed in school. Burke could stay in school , tank, and be a second rounder. This is not unprecedented which is why guys usually strike while the iron is hot and makes decisions like the one made by Smart very rare. I mean he almost guaranteed top 5 this year, I really hope this works out for him. I wouldn't have done it.
You're reaching big time. Burke has already shown progression. The only way he would so called "tank" is via injury. You act like Burke is a freshman with no prior tape to scout. Your logic is extremely silly.
Who reaching? I'm just saying cause he improved from freshman to sophomore doesn't automatically mean he continues to improve. Never heard the statement taking a step back? But anyway all this started because like I said the year they left school Jameer had better numbers and you stated that Burke would have made the same progression. That is the definition of a reach cause it can not be proven. I won't dispute the better prospect part because I don't really know about jameer but I do know his draft class was much deeper than this one so if Burke is taken higher that doesn't mean a lot either.
You fail to comprehend and you continue to reach. Your points rely heavily on hypotheticals and apples to oranges comparisons. I never said Burke would make the same progressions. I said something along the lines of based on his progressions, there's no reason to believe he wouldn't continue grow. Huge difference from what you're assuming I said.
My points were clear and concise.
I had the same problem with him in another thread
For the record, I agree with your view that it is totally logical to expect Burke to continue to grow. I don't even know how you could see it any other way... And that goes for most promising young players. You expect them to grow.
