Do we ever play people that are doubtful? I have to imagine that means Evans return is probably home vs the Grizzlies.

is anyone else getting annoyed with these rumors? 3rd game in a row where they just dangle it out there he might play when in reality it'll probably be another week or so

Yeah at this point I'm just ignoring rumors until I see them on the court, in uniform, with a ball in their hands after a tip off.

Until then I am just assuming everyone is out indefinitely.

Too many false hopes being fed from the press.

I'm not even accepting the report Jrue and Davis are paying tonight until I see it.

Heck if I were to go by Meyers and Wesley's info, Qpon would still be " a couple weeks away" sometime next December.

I just don't understand why we have zero effort to start games.

Like I get being burnt out in the second half of back 2 backs, but from tip off?

I don't know if the coaching staff just doesnt prepare these guys. We somehow managed to get the laziest cast of characters in the league to start for us?

It seems like consistently we over commit to players that don't need it like Ryno letting people get clear paths to the rim while he bodies Gobert 10 feet away from the goal. Or Ryno going under the screen of Engels who's ONLY purpose is to shoot. Or Gordon ignoring Hood. Or pretty much every perimeter defender not knowing their guys tendencies and skill sets.

Then you have the whole team just acting lethargic from tip off. Not moving, not passing, not getting up the court. Then the players that do do the things you want miss easy shots like Gordon.

You exactly why , the players don't know what to do on defense and offense , so therefore obviously there's not gonna be any energy shown

But thats the rub. They clearly do....Eventually. We tighten up. We come back. We lock down and we play good basketball for a good portion of the game. That is until we relapse sometime in the second half.

Its why I kinda just think its on the players. Like there is no reason Ryno should be treating guys like Gobert like they were Dirk or going under the screen against Ingles right after he had been sagging way off him.
