I hope not, I'm low on Otto Porter and don't want the team tempted to pick him should he drop.
Heck I'd rather Bennett.

That would be great for us, Bennett would not fit on this team
you would rather take another PF on a team that needs players at every other position other than PF over taking the highest rated SF in the draft for a team with no SF's?
If Porter doesn't go to Washington, I think he drops to 6.
Charlotte would go for McLemore/Oladipo (depending on ORLs pick) and Phoenix would probably take a player with greater upside than Porter, such as McCollum.
I gotta say, I called this one as soon as they landed #3. They were the ideal team to jump in front of us because Bennett is a great fit for them.
People say Porter is naturally a 3, but I worry about his lateral quickness at the next level, not to mention his slow-footed offense.
I don't think Bennett would have the same problems athletically guarding 3's at the next level; I think his defensive issues are more of a focus thing.
And as for offensive potential, I don't think it's close; Bennett is the superior athlete, shot-creator, an on-par shooter, etc etc.
However, I was just throwing him out in comparison to Porter. If it was between Bennett and Schroeder/one of the two guards, I'd go with the guards.
That's probably fair, but I don't think it's such an open and shut case.
I just don't like the idea of drafting sub-par athleticism this high. I want potential, and so much of potential is tied into the athletic jump that a player can make from college to the NBA. Porter was merely sufficient athletically in college; I'm worried he'll get exposed in the NBA.
If Porter falls to us, I'm going streaking in my neighborhood.
But he is athletically gifted + production.
There is an issue with defending threes perhaps, but is it truly an athletic limitation, or just a focus/technique thing. I admittedly haven't watched a lot of Bennett defending on the perimeter (perhaps for good reason).
Well this can turn out good (or bad to some)
1. Cleveland - Porter(there has been reports that they may take him there)
2. Orlando - Burke(sorry but they may take him they need a pg)
3. Washington - Bennett
4. Bearcats or whatever - Noel(such a MJ mistake waiting to happen...)
5. Phoenix - Takes Oladipo or Mclemore
6. Oladipo or even Mclemore? Doubt it but its possible things shake out this way. Either way is good with me. And some other guys can rise up due to good workouts so you never know who can slide to us. Plus the scenario where Porter can slide to us. Much good can come out of this.
I would love if Porter fell to us. That or Burke falling would make me a happy happy man.
I just hope this doesn't happen and we get stuck with Noel:
Cavs: Porter
Magic: Burke
Wizards: Bennett
Bobcats: Oladipo
Suns: McClemore:
There's some questions about Porter as a on-ball defender as well. Personally I'd gamble on Bennett before I take Porter.
I don't think Porter is going to get past Cleveland, even if they stay at 1. It's going to be an interesting draft for sure.
Seriously? PF is the deepest position on the team and Davis still needs to bulk up more if there's any intent on moving him to the 5. It would be great if Washington took Bennett because that would most likely mean Demps can have his pick of Burke, Porter, and Oladipo. That would be a great situation.
I see Porter going 1. Orlando will take a big since they've had big-itis since Howard left. They've got multiple holes in the paint and just I can't see them passing up Noel in that case.
If the wizards and the magic don't pick Porter or Burke, because the Cavs have too much pressure on them if they don't pick Noel. That would be wonderful for the Pelicans.
Porter would be the perfect fit for the Pelicans.
Oladipo, Porter, Burke, McLemore, Bazz, McCollum. Gotta come away from this draft with at least one of them.
Definitely would love to have Porter fall to us. I think Phoenix would take him if he gets past Washington though, but if Washington takes Bennet it raises our chances so thats always good.
Right. It's Shabazz. Forgive the silly typo.
I actually think with Porter would fit in with what Phoenix is looking for to be honest. He may not be a "superstar" presence, but his ability to do everything efficiently make him a safe pick. I think the Suns are in a position where they can't afford gambles.
Can someone send me or whatever a site that compares mock drafts of different sites all on the same site?
New GM/coach, which had to be honest with the President of the Suns and tell him it's gonna be a couple years before they can compete because the roster is de void of talent, I see them taking BPA regardless of position. Outside of Dragic, Gortat and Dudley they don't have to much NBA level talent on that roster IMO.
Everything is coming up roses. The plan is all coming together.

try this.....
Bennett? Where are they going to put him? At the 3? Because they have Nene and Okie at the 4/5. Unless they are going to play small ball with Nene at the 4.
