Yeah I just saw them say that, pretty random spot :hihi:
He's a good interviewer, should be a good one with Stephen A grilling him (though I can't stand Stephen A).
Coming up next 10:15!
Anything noteworthy?
Austin just shut them up on the Pelicans name. What's a clipper?
Of course they start off by ragging on the Pelicans name. Rivers says it actually has something to do with New Orleans, the Hornets have NOTHING to do with New Orleans.
Attacking him about the Pelicans name Stephen A in particular, he gave a great answer, asked wth was a Clipper before LA had them :hihi:
Said he likes the name cause it at least has something to do with the city.
Shut them up by saying winning cures all when it comes to names. Great answers.
Seems like Austin thinks the Pacers might win the series. :hihi:
Talkin Lebron now.
Clearly Austin reads this forum . Awesome how he put Skippy and Steven in there place. I guessng there is also a Sportscenter interview today too since he is in ESPN studio.
Austin saying that it took him 70% of the season to figure things out and when he did he broke his hand :hihi:
Austin representing... I didn't see it but I can't wait to. I wish Austin would have pimp-slapped SAS's punk arss.
Who's gonna be representing the Pels in the Lottery Tuesday?
Monty will be there again.
Trade Eric Gordon:hihi:
Thanks folks!
I'm not lying I would be totally fine with rolling the dice and giving Rivers the 2 after drafting Burke and trading Gordon. I like the kid and think he will improve a TON, it's hard not too statistically :hihi:
In 1999 Austin was in 1st grade. Lawd have mercy. LOL.
But seriously, what is a clipper?
LOL Austin got S.A.S. on the defensive on Knicks&Mello.
Any link to the debate?
70% of the season is a steep learning curve... I hope he learned a lot, retains that information and applies it to next season. I think Burke is a good option but I want Austin as my starting PG.
Aaahh those? Geez, i thought it was something like this http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-jbJ_CMmSpx...s1600/clip.jpg but then i remembered those were just clips. Thanks anyway
If AR can develop a mid-range jumper it's gonna be hard to guard him. The best thing Tony Parker did was develop that deadly mid-range jumper... he's so quick you have to play him for the drive, but that pull-up jumper from 15-17 is butter now.
If Austin can add that shot to his game he's gonna be sick. He's already gotten the "runner" pretty much on lock. His 3 point shot was coming along as well. All he needs now is a mid-range game.
I think he has good awareness and court vision to be a solid passer as well. He just needs more experience at the NBA level.
What gets me is when people act like the name is supposed to be 'fierce', as though a pair of pants (Knickerbockers) or a piece of meshed fabric (Nets) is fierce.Quote:
Los Angeles Clippers.
A Clipper is a long sailing ship from the 19th century. The team got its named after it moved to San Diego from Buffalo in 1979. San Diego is a very important port city and has been for centuries. Many Clipper ships from South America docked in San Diego and other California ports during the 1849 gold rush.
What is a knick?

The guy, not the beer
rivers
gordon
porter
ryno
davis
I'm not sold on the Ryno AD front court starting.
I dont consider RYno a starter; Hes exactly the type of player I would want in the 6th man role.
I agree. The way I run the offense, there isn't much drive and kick, it's more screens to setup shooters. I guess that's why my top 3 scorers are Davis with 24, Burke with 19, and Anderson with 18.
I still get Gordon a lot of buckets of PnR. Davis is a beast on the OReb, but he's still getting push around on the defensive end. I've been developing his strength.
