Why we lose close games
because we never have the best guard on the court.
we do much better now that dejaunte murray is back. not because he's good but because he is actually an NBA guard.
we didn't have one before him. especially since Jose left.
in fact pretty much any point guard or combo from the history of the team could have helped us this year
it simple. at the end you need someone adept at dribbling, passing and shooting. Zion cant navigate the end cause he cant be trusted on free throws. Trey's handles are a little loose, Fears isnt ready yet and Murray is the best we have and he's not very good
tonight Murray shot 16% from the field and 25% from 3
game before he was 30% from the field and 16% from 3
he is also having a career year for turnovers
But ya know he came back this year when he could have packed it in. hope he improves

Murray has had some really good games and looks much better than he did last year before the injury. I don't think it's difficult for teams with good defenses to cause us problems, especially in the 4th quarter/end of the game when they are trying harder. Zion isn't going to do anything but try to attack the basket, 95% of the time to his left--if you have some size you wall off the paint and there's not much else he's gonna do. We don't really have anyone else that's capable of generating/exploiting mismatches, which is how games are won in the 4th quater (and playoffs, should we ever get there lol).
