If Burke is drafted then he's going to have to fight for backup minutes with Roberts. I also think you have to move Gravy as there's simply not enough minutes to go around. Basically, drafting Burke means they've thrown in the towel on Rivers and REALLY jacked up his development. Think about it, two years in and you went from back up Pg to starting SG, back to backup PG, and entire offseason of nothing but PG practice, and then finally back up SG? I simply don't see that as the way you treat someone you were fully expecting to be a project. You're just setting him up for failure.
This is why I don't see us taking Burke. He can only play one position and needs the ball in his hands. I think Rivers is already a better defender than Burke is going to be in the NBA also. He might be more PG ready but I don't think he's going to be starter ready. So, if we drafted him I think he gets backup minutes until he can prove he deserves more. If he can improve off the ball then I can see him getting more minutes. Although I think a Burke/Gordon back court is awfully short.
