Mike Malone sign deal to become Head Coach of the Sacramento Kings

Good for him. This is the type of job he was looking for when he left the Hornets organization.

The Kings are going to be a threat next year. GSW lost a key coach.

First thing Malone needs to do is have Cousins do a psychiatric eval and get some meds for whatever he has.

Then trade him here.

If Malone can get the Kings to play his brand of defense, they are going to be good.

Keith Smart was fired? Did not even now that. Malone a great hire!

Good for Malone. Such a great coach. It was only a matter of time till he got his own head coaching gig.

Further proof of how strong Monty's staff was in 10-11. Congrats to Malone, well deserved

Its crazy how their other HC was representing them at the Lottery

Coach Malone was a major reason for our offensive success when he was here. Once he left the offense went with him. Great hire by the Kings. Golden State will miss him dearly too.

Yea and I don't think it's very strong as of now. What u think of bringing pj carleisemo on as the head assistant if he doesn't get a hc gig? Me personally I'd love it. Would be a strong hire IMO.

I agree. He did a pretty good job in Brooklyn cleaning Avery's mess. He would be very good assistant.

That's what I was thinking man. We def need to upgrade our coaching staff. I think we are so focused on players but our coaching staff needs upgraded badly IMO. We need an offensive minded guy on there to compliment Monty's defensive mind.
