So, to watch the Kansas Mich game or the Hornets game, that is the question.
time to shine, Roberts. Biggest stage of your life.
That might be the best idea anyway against the Heat to have a punchers chance. I want our guys to play physical like the Bulls did. **** LeBron crying bout fouls. Knock him around like he does everyone else when he's bulldozing his way through people in the lane but never gets called for an offensive foul.
I know some are on board with the tank but I think if we win this game it can do a great deal for this young team's confidence going into next season. Cuz even though the Heat streak ended they still have overall home court advantage to play for. Think they're 2 games or so behind the Spurs for best record overall.
Bill Kennedy and co. won't let us play physical with Lebron the way the Bulls did. I'd be highly surprised if they did. I might even be more highly surprised if our team even tried to play that physical. I guess we shall see.
It's good that Gravy is out. He probably wasn't ready to come back Wednesday.
This is really something thats irked me during the season. Remember when they used to be more physical on Defense? The most physical one now is J-Smith IMO. I think AD's problem is his strength of course but he's very active which makes up for it for the time being. I think it the lack of physicality starts on the perimeter. I was watching that Heat/Bulls games and notice how much better they are able to defend the perimeter which inturn makes it much harder to get into the lane and if the do get into the lane the Bigs have already gotten back in to place to clog the paint.
Because we can't defend the perimeter our bigs over compensate by coming out to help and end up having to leave the paint wide open.

I can't imagine I'm the only one that's happy Roberts will be starting again at PG. If I had my way, I'd let GV play until he has one more solid game to keep his stock up and then bench him the rest of the season to "rest that ankle".
lets go Roberts! get GV outta town!
I'm Happy, but it more about addition by subtraction. I'm not a Roberts fan, but what you have at the PG with him is a guy trying not to screw up when starting, so he's trying to run the position exactly how he's told. Vasquez thinks he's a star.
I view this like changing from a QB who is turnover prone, trying to play outside of himself and gambles to much, to a guy that's going to hand it off 40 times a game and throw 10-12, sure passes to the the play makers.
People talk about speed with Roberts, but for his size 5'11 and no weight on him, he's not really that fast and i don't think he's quick at all. He's just the smallest guy on the court which gets him some space. But with that, it shows you that even with a little speed at PG, how much more effective all of our playmakers can be.
AD, AFA and our shooters, Anderson, Miller, Mason become more dangerous because they're getting the ball more in their spots. Even our "STAR" Gordon, he now gets to dominate the ball and play make for others because he's getting more chances with the to dictate flow.
He played against the Nuggets like a game manager, and that allowed our other guys to do what they do best and it gave them more chances to do those things.
From a fan stand point, this makes it more exciting to watch, because we get to see more of the guys we want to watch.
Wow! So much for that whole "thank goodness Vasquez isn't playing tonight" talk. We could have used him if for nothing more than depth.
Oh well. Roberts is learning.
