I don't understand the move but, we'll see. As long as he isn't in the game late with AD on the bench.

Maybe this means the shutdown is about to happen. Add guys that won't draw attention to the tank, but won't win any games either.

There's a reason Amundson got a contract for the rest of the season, and Sims up to this point hasn't.

I'm not saying Amundson is going to put any of our other bigs on the bench, or even be here next season, but he actually has a few particular skills that have kept him in the NBA this long. He's an above average NBA rebounder, works his butt off, and is a decent defender.

It was more than a year or two ago and we were a completely different team looking for an energy bench guy. I agree I would rather see Sims gets some PT to see if he has any future as a bench player.

If we were in a win-now mode it would make sense. We are not. I would rather see Sims get some PT. Amundson does nothing for us.

Amundson is a super hustle guy. Think Smith's hustle without the J. Solid addition for a year.
