Well, here comes Shaq, who began his professional life in the role of the Goliath of Disney World, who moved cross-country to become a basket-stuffing movie star in La-la Land, who returned to Florida to win one for the Heat, and now, in twilight, is trying to help the Suns rise, up, up and away, for the first time, out of the West.

For the Phoenix Suns, the Grand Experiment is under way.
