Zion, Ball, Hart are all out; Adams, Ingram, Iwundu all questionable.
Tonight we take on the Warriors for the third time, a series which is currently split 1-1.
We know what we know about Golden State. Racked with injuries to James Wiseman, Klay Thompson, Eric Paschall, and others, they have nonetheless been carried to the 8th seed by Stephen Curry having basically his best season since 2015-16. Curry's averages of 32/5/6 on 48/42/92 splits are absurd, and he has gone off for numerous scoring records for a player of his age (Curry is 33).
These numbers have only grown more intense as the season has gone on. Since April 1st, Curry has averaged 37/5/5 on 49/44/91 splits in 22 games, and doing so with a 14-8 record isn't bad either. So far in the 2 games that he has played against us, Curry is averaging 39/7/5; if he is able to score enough tonight to pull his average up over 40 points per game, he will be the third guard this season (after Lillard and Fox) to average more than 40 against the Pelicans; prior to this season, we had never had more than one player do that to us in a season.
Let's see what happens: do the Warriors bolster their latest hot streak, having won their last 4 straight and handing the Pels another loss, or do the Pelicans win another game and kill any chance at the 8th pick being theirs?
Other Games Tonight: Kings play the Grizzlies; we want them to win. Wizards play the Cavs; we also want them to win.
