He is overrated imo. Outside of his big 3 team in Boston, his teams routinely underachieved in the playoffs. He didn’t even call a timeout to coach up his team in that fourth quarter collapse that eliminated the Clippers. I’d rather a coach who has shown that he can develop talent than one who was routinely given a team full of veteran stars to ultimately underachieve.
I’m a little out on Rivers. I’d rather him than D’Antoni.
I'm okay with Doc if there isn't any choices by the time we let all the other teams get their new head coach.
Who in their right mind would take that job for longer than 2 years before the roster starts to crumble...
I called it 2 weeks ago

Marc Spears says we have already reached out.
Seems pretty significant because of how patient and silent we have been to this point.
Lue/Kidd being the only real leaks and those seemed more speculative and agent side.
If we did sign Doc, i am guessing we would get Austin back as well.

Overrated!!
What happened to the other Doc Rivers thread?
Where were we before he zapped us?
Rivers seems like a slightly rich man's Gentry in a lot of ways
After a rapid courtship and negotiation, Doc Rivers has reached agreement on a deal to become the next coach of the Philadelphia 76ers, sources tell ESPN.
