NBA to play all games in empty arenas

The NBA’s Board of Governors shared a consensus on Wednesday to continue the season playing games without fans in arenas amid the coronavirus crisis, and Commissioner Adam Silver is expected to move in that direction with a decision on Thursday.

It's annoying too by the way.

Maybe a bit overkill but I understand it. Until there is a super cure that can halt the virus, having that many people in close proximity puts them at risk. It also has a slow incubation period which means there are some that have no idea they are carrying it.

It makes sense at crazy as it sounds. Sucks for ticket holders big time though.
