it's obvious that picking a center or a shooter may be the call here. although at pick 57 one should just hope for a contributor.

given we would have to trade up in the second round for these guys; trading up a little bit in the 2nd round doesn't cost nearly as much
here's some guys that i feel should be targeted in the second

Trevon Brazile 6'11" - 7'4" wingspan with a 41.5" max vert He shot only 34% on three's but he took an avg of 4 of them a game; this suggest he has a good chance to become a quality shooter (the fact that he was allowed to do this) If you ask me finding guys that can shoot the three and become an elite defender is the name of the game.

Jack Kayil- ive watched him play a few times and believe if a team doesn't have a 1st rounder this year---- take someone who would be a 1st rounder next year. . it's obvious that he would be next year

Richie Saunders 6'6" BYU- shoot, rebound, take charges, steals ect. this guy does it all and is a straight up hustler (and sniper). great shooter and a total thief when getting steals

I dont see why OKC would want to use both of their first rounders this year. Given their depth and roster it would be beneficial for them to keep the draft capital.

Seemingly we could trade them a future first, say top three protected, and a pick swap down the line; hence, increasing their capital and probably moving up in the draft twice

if we were to get pick 12 from them, it's probable, objectively speaking, they could wind up with two picks in future drafts higher than that one

although I think we would do better than that, the consensus wouldn't agree. it would be like betting on ourselves again
