Slotted right in the middle. Should be verrrrrrrry interesting to see who, I, Masai Ujiri, and George Karl like in this area.

The New Wave of Pelican Power!
With the 7th pick, the Phoenix Sun select Kobe Bryant
Bryant is having one of the best years of his career scoring and passing. He is a lights out competitor that will beat anyone one on one to win a game. He's my closer and my starter. He is already the heart of this team. He'll play 48 minutes if he has to, and he won't accept losing. That's the culture I'm bringing to Phoenix.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Thunder select Carmelo Anthony, Shepherd King!!!
Rockets select C Marc Gasol to anchor the interior.
Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams
Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston
I mean he plays on a team with Randolf and Conley as his next best players and they are in the playoffs. He anchors that interior D while conley and allen create havoc on the perimeter
Tough one. 3 guys I really wanted. Had to go with the league's 6th leading scorer, 6th best assist guy, 8th in steals, and 9th in PER (Hollinger). Can also play him at either guard spot if need be.
Boston Celtics take Russell Westbrook.

HR Sim League Orlando Magic
PG: Luke Ridnour, Delonte West, Greg Minor
SG: Andre Iguodala, Mickael Pietrus
SF: Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Boris Diaw
PF: Charlie Villanueva, Ian Mahinimi, Amir Johnson
C: Eddy Curry, Mamadou Ndiaye, Adam Parada
2 Really good point guards with the last two picks. Only one more to go till I can select and I think I know who I'm going with either way and the Denver Nuggets are already excited to announce who that player will be soon.
Memphis Grizzlies select: Tony Parker
HR SIM LEAGUE: MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES

In about 2-3 picks through it'll be really hard to compete with those teams with a superstar without trades. I personally think trades shouldn't be allowed and maybe next year do a format of :
Round 1: 1, 2, 3
Round 2: 3, 2, 1
Round 3: 3, 2, 1
Round 4: 1, 2, 3
Just trying to think outside the bun.
The real question is, who's going to troll the league and pick Vasquez in the first round and use his numbers during the vs.

Yeah Balls. I kinda agree with you. Since this is going by voting, it's hard to imagine a team without a super star competing.
When constructing a team in the middle stages of each round, you know there's going to be quality players that can create their own shot, hit a clutch three, knows what it's like to win a playoff series and an NBA Championship. What you're looking for is a proven cornerstone, franchise guy in the first round. When consulting with the rest of the Denver front office and after working out a few of the players that might be available in this area of the draft, he excelled in every way possible and demonstrated the grit and passion to want to play for the Denver Nuggets.
The Denver Nuggets select: Dirk Nowitzki
That's a hell of a writeup yankee.
The Milwaukee Bucks want to build a house of champions. In order to do that you need a strong mix of young up-and-coming stars with experienced championship veterans. A star-caliber player will be our foundation, hungry young players will be our bricks, and veteran leadership will be our mortar.
The Milwaukee Bucks select PG Stephen Curry to be their foundation.
The person who won last year didnt have a single player on his team that was drafted withing the first 15 picks (i think?), so its possible.
I went back and forth on this, but finally settled on Rajon Rondo, I hope to be a defensive minded team with length at all positions. Getting Rondo to facilitate and smother the other teams point guard defensively all game will be key.
Toronto Raptors take Rajon Rondo
