Anthony Davis Expected Back This Week

Anthony Davis (ankle) is expected to return to the lineup this week.
The Hornets have gone 2-9 in Davis' absence, but he's traveling with the team and could return vs. the Wizards on Tuesday, in OKC on Wednesday, or at home vs. the Wolves on Friday.
    Monty:
"We should get some help when we get Anthony back sometime next week,’’ Williams said after Saturday night’s 106-90 loss to the Miami Heat. Davis' rehabilitation work was intensified last week and he appears to be making progress. He accompanied the team to Miami but was not made available to the media.
This week is a good time to get him back, no back to backs until the following Tuesday.

I'd say that should be soon as well. Dec 15th is rapidly approaching, btw.

What's significant about the 15th again?

  5. #5
It's when he can be traded

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Must mean the 6 week mark, which he'll be out at least another 2.

The trade thing is not important until he gets his butt on the floor and plays at least 20 straight games. Nobody wants a walking DNP.

Yeah, it's actually both. Oh the irony!

It really is. As though the ribbing is going to make him return any sooner. And we disrespect our other injured players by not letting them have an injury thread for themselves.

I just realized that I have a red ryder bb gun and I may shoot my eye out....but that's not new and neither is EJ being hurt. Maybe he was playing with a Red Ryder, got hurt(replace eye with knee) and he's just really embarassed to admit to it?.....

Anthony Davis Expected Back This Week

You want to know my speculation wuggie.... On twitter during the summer, Gordon was talking about beach volleyball. So just maybe he re-injured his knee doing that

Davis' sister tweeted "He'ssssss backkkkkkkk". I wonder if she's talking about her brother.

Are you even serious? You really think Gordon is faking an injury?

As politically correct as I can be, you, sir, "lack information." (thanks 42 )

It's probably less that they actually think Gordon is faking an injury, and more frustration over the fact that he's played in less than 12% of the games since he's been here...Which is understandable, as is venting to an extent

So, if Gordon is actually injured and is trying his hardest to rehab, so he can get back on the court, how exactly is he "pulling this BS?" Seems like the poster above thinks Gordon is faking an injury, otherwise, his post doesn't make any sense.

I understand venting to an extent, but the extent has worn out. These babies have been crying all season. They think we don't realize it sucks that Gordon is hurt? I think everyone is a little angry that he is injured, but crying about it every other day isn't going to make anything better. Enough is enough.
