This is a step we have to take. We know the T'Wolves are beneath us so we're playing like we don't need to really try.
Truth is you need to play even harder to blow them out immediately. Put the game out of reach, rest in the 4th. But like this, the game will come down to the wire.
Wolves look more aggressive right now and our guards look like they wish they were at home with the family this afternoon.

I will be elated when Monty Williams is gone ..This team is widly inconsistent, play with no toughess, and make incredibly dumb mistakes on the floor. We have has three 3 second violations called on us just this quarter alone .
Its the constant repetitive mistakes that get to me the most. Things that should be cleaned up that goes unchecked. It's hard to watch on a nightly basis

I think Dell has built a good team here. Our core talent base is great. We need to bring someone on here who can bring it all together. The roster is built funny but there's enough talent on our team to be a serious contender in the western conference. Monty seems like a great guy and I have nothing against him personally, but this isn't the gig for him . Monty was a cheap hire a long time ago to get us through the Shinn era. His time has come and gone. It's time for us to move on.

Honestly, I don't know if a new coach will make Tyreke's basketball IQ better or get Eric to be more consistent. But I do know both of those guys have talent and are NBA starting caliber players. I also know that it's easier to replace a coach than it is to replace talented NBA players.
We have to make a change. It's easier to replace a coach than it is to replace a roster. Dell has given Monty a good roster in my opinion and Monty hasn't handled this team well at all. This team should be well entrenched in the playoffs this year even with the injuries.

You over-estimate the talent on this roster. Their record is right where it should be.
Losses against the knicks, hornets, celtics (2x), kings, nuggets (2x I believe), Wizards (2x), and the sixers. Win at least half of those games and this isn't even a race for the 8th playoff spot.
They've won just as many games they had no business winning, too. Flip it around and they are still in the same spot they are now.
