The most overused words on Pelicansreport.com. Wrongly, I might add.

ELITE - (often used with a plural verb) the choice or best of anything considered collectively, as of a group or class of persons.

GREAT - notable; remarkable; exceptionally outstanding

These words should not be used lightly

I don't really even follow the list. How do you really rank 500 players(some of which are rookies) and expect it to be remotely accurate. If it wasn't for some of the sports sites I visit I wouldn't even have a clue where ESPN ranked players. I see no point in complaining over where player X is in relationship to player Y.

There is no point to it, it's just what people do.

Nobody complained. It was asked whether 6 Pels would be in the top 100. The argument was made that if Burke was 118, then all 6 Pels should definitely be.

    http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on-...-through-no-51

    99 tyreke
    86 aski
    70 anderson
    58 jrue
    10 AD

lol they have larry sanders, amir johnson, andrew bogut and comany all ahead of aski

AD at 10, what a joke?

  7. #32
By the end of the year, we will laugh at how low Tyreke was on all these lists.

  8. #33
Wow, so Noel is 102 and Waiters is 101. So this is projection based. Makes sense why they have Burke spotted where they have him.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

I'm just angry that Dwight Howard and Bosh are in front of him. why.. seems like analysts these days are still stuck in the old days where they use to be considered top 10 players.

These list ARE a joke but the posters should be held accountable for their errors.

Why? They are a joke (as you said), and only written to give people something to talk about. Are you pounding down the door of the National Enquirer demanding to speak with the reporter who says he found where Bat Boy was?

I'm talking about as it relates to ESPN and their list. ESPN is terrible at things like this and are the main offenders as far as over hyping and/or overrating of players.

I'm with you DT, all these lists have AD ahead of Drummond. They need to get out of here with that nonsense.

    There's no irony there

How the hell is Noel ranked 100?

    Top 10 - AD
    Top 50- Jrue
    Top 60- Ryno
    Top 75- Evans
    Top 100- Aisk
    Top 110- Gordon

Obviosuly opinions will differ, but people are going to go from "No, this list doesn't bother me." to " This list is ludicrous. How is _____ ranked higher than _____(Pelicans player)."
EG was exactly 110. Good job

He's above Wilson Chandler, Andrew Wiggins, Kevin Martin, JR Smith, MKG, Terrence Ross, Corey Brewer, and Gerald Green. I'd take any of them over EG.

Even J.R Smith? i would rather pay a lot more money not to take that franchise wrecker of a player.

You have no future as a front office man for the New York Knicks.

I am interested to see where he takes his game post Linsanity. I think in LA he can really polish himself and become a solid all around player. Kobe will push him. He will be able to learn from Nash. Scott wasn't the greatest coach, but CP3 and Collison didn't hate him. He just might be able to prove this ranking.

Wow, thats a bit low for Evans, but at least he cracked the top 100.
