I'll be there tonight!!! Grizz are the best team in the league right now imo. Gonna be a rugged one. Gay and Randolph are beast.

#Hornets Jason Smith sits out of am practice, rides bike, working thru soreness. He'll warm up tonight & see if able to play vs #Grizzlies.

It's his knee right? Or is it his ankle?

“@phelpsalot: @JenHale504 knee?” Smith hyper-extended knee vs #Lakers, and now has soreness all over leg after fall when he was undercut.

Memphis doesn't get off to good starts, so if we are down after the first we are probably in trouble.

They also have the best third quarter margin (by far) in the league, they outscore their opponents by an average of 5 points in the third. Next closest is Utah at only 2.4, third quarter could get ugly...

Would have likes to see Davis/Lopez/Anderson against that beast of a Grizzly frontcourt. Davis is injured, so I doubt there will be much to look for.

Do we have an edge at any position tonight?

Memphis team is just built strong. They play hard and have a great starting five, even though not having Tony Allen hurts their D a ton. In order to win this one we will have to earn it.

I don't think he has any business out there and don't expect to see him dressed out either....

I had to give my tickets to my brother tonight. I have so much work to catch up on. It sucks.

Toughest schedules thus far using our adjusted formula: TOR, NOH & MIA. Easiest: PHI, MEM & OKC.

Confirms my feelings they can compete with Memphis. Have to play a good game though.

Xavier Henry is starting for Aminu tonight.

Hornets Coach Monty Williams shaking up his lineup tonight starting Xavier Henry ahead of Al Faroug Aminu at small forward.

Don't forget that SOS can be influenced by the fact that bad teams and strong teams don't get a chance to play themselves. All the same, the Hornets have faced a lot of the better teams in the league so far and just a few of the fellow patsies.

I thought he was playing great last game, but can he really play SF?

I'm guessing he may have more strength to stop Gay from getting to his spots on the floor.

Interesting decision. Aminu looked like he got complacent at SF and his production has continuously dipped. X played well against the Lakers so let's see what he's got tonight.

  24. #24
Think itd make more sense to start X at the 2

I've seen Aminu lollygag to 3pt shooters far too often.
