    AD Injury News

“Anthony Davis leaves the Jazz locker room with crutches. He’s able to put a little more weight on left leg, but not much. Pelicans PR reported left groin injury.”

Woj tweeted out that extent of injury won't be known until doctors in New Orleans examine him tomorrow.

Sounds like he is going to be out a long time.

Seems it's no longer a groin injury but a "pelvic" injury.

Guess we’ll find out the official verdict when he pays a visit to the oh-so-awesome medical staff in New Orleans.

Pels announced they won't release his injury info until the morning.

How many months will he be out? I'm going to go with 2.

This was the number that came to mind yesterday as well, but after this new update I am thinking longer.

What could possibly be the issue in that part of the body for a freakin 23 year old? Hip flexor? Cracked pelvis from no contact?

Could be a stress fracture in the pelvis.

IF it is a hip-flexor...could be a nagging thing all year. I still trained every day and ran an Olympic distance triathlon but had treatment every day as well. Probably lasted 4 or 5 months but again everyone is different.

MRI results negative on New Orleans Pelicans All-Star Anthony Davis' injured groin, and timetable on his return will be day-to-day for near future, league sources tell ESPN.

What I want to know is, how did the medical staff go from: Groin injury to *gets exam* let's change it to a pelvic injury to let's change it back to a groin injury.

after the doctor being fired for misdiagnosing players I would assume they got multiple opinions
