Also look at Pek, if you feed the ball in the right areas you can score at any time.
The players even know this. They pass on him another even when he has good post position or is calling for the ball almost at times seemingly getting frustrated because he isn't getting the ball when he should or wants it. At this point do you ask if even the players have confidence in His post game, seen. which by judging lately, they do not. He has alot of work to do on. The offensive side of the ball. I'm not impressed from what I've seen.

Encouraging to see Rivers have his best game as a pro. There is just something missing from this team... Oh, I remember... It's Eric Gordon. Don't care about the loss. Happy for the future of this club. Still some tinkering to be done. I think I almost like X Henry again.

Austin Rivers is more of a defensive specialist than Aminu. Pretty much every 3 in the 3rd for the wolves came from Aminu's man.

In his three games back Anthony Davis has two offensive rebounds. There's something wrong there.

    Defense. He's terrible at it.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

He's on the perimeter WAY too much.

I mean, I hear about all his work on his post game. I see vids of him backing down and spinning baseline. But all they got him doing is screening and standing on the baseline.

Have any idea why that is?

I want to know what assistant coaches are for? Can't any of them see that's not where he should be? Heck Randy Ayers was a head coach in this league. He don't know any better?

I assume you are inferring he is playing about 15 feet too far from the basket... lol

This offense has me scratching my head if Monty is the right coach for this team and its future, and I LOVE Monty.

Our defense is flat out horrible and that is what is losing us most of these games. good/great defense leads to better offense. Just not getting it done on that end of the floor. I hope ad doesn't get discouraged out there because it looked like he sure was. On every pick n roll he looked to be not interested in it.

    I wish I did, but I don't.

Closest thing I can think of is that they aren't comfortable with his strength. I wonder what he benches and squats?

    Do basketball players do squats?

How many point guards in the NBA loses games with 15/17/5 on over 50% shooting? The only guy I can think of is Jose Calderon and maybe Ramon Sessions.

Ole' Benson must be getting concerned after Signing Monty to a long term deal, he took a gamble on signing him before the season or letting him finish the season and be able to sign with some other team. I starting to think Tom is going to get burned on this gamble. I really like Monty as a person but we have to start questioning a lot of what we see on the court regardless of the injuries.

absolutely along with some bogus calls imo...I am not the one to usually holler about ref this ref that but does it seem the last few games that these refs have been unusually bad??

AD hasn't looked too happy for a while. His play is too laid back for my taste??

They have been. It's like they're the NFL refs and they're taking the bounty situation out on the Hornets.

Everyone go to youtube and search alley oop dunks. Aldridge, Griffin, Chandler, and anyone else you can think of.

And watch where those dunks come from. Fast breaks, cuts, back door, etc etc. But all we do is a routine ball screen which is easy to diagnose, especially when you don't have a guard that really worries you in the pick and roll.

I love Monty, but it might be time to bring in a guy that can coach up the offense. Similar to what D'Antoni did with Woodson in New York.

I've seen Davis seal, dive to the open paint, run out ahead of transition. But no one ever feeds him the ball. Once I saw him look at Aminu with the basketball, then he spun off the man guarding him. But Aminu is too brain dead to see it coming or to know that he should throw the lob even though the play isn't going to be obviously open.

Ever since Davis got injured, Williams has relied on the perimeter game. And now with Davis back, We are having a huge problem getting the ball to Davis in 10-12ft area. Not sure what the issue is but there seems to be a lack of trust in getting him the ball in traffic.

The last two teams Davis played for won the national championship and a gold medal.

I don't think he's used to or will get used to losing.

When daThrone brought up Davis having a negative stat for a few games, I remember this forum saying how +/- is based off of team play. Now when Vasquez has a negative then he just flat out sucks. Love the double standard :/

He did? I remember DCoop saying that once in regards to Rivers.

Anywho. I don't care about Vasquez like I do Davis or Rivers, so I won't leap to defend him.

Another frustration thing about this is that it's not like we're getting blown out. We've lead at some point in a lot of games this season.
