    starting:
    tyreke
    gordon
    aminu(unfortunately)
    AD
    withey

    bench:
    rivers
    morrow
    babbitt
    aminu
    ajinca

    closing:
    rivers
    gordon
    tyreke
    AD
    withey

starting: roberts, gordon, tyreke, ad, ajinca

bench: rivers, morrow, aminu, babbit, and withey

closing: rivers, gordon, tyreke, babbit, and ad

I don't like tyreke and aminu playing together and figure the closing lineup should try to at least resemble the one we actually want with rivers playing jrue like defense and babbit spacing the floor like a poor mans ryno

Don't care about position titles, so here goes...

Starting: Evans, Morrow, Aminu/Babbit, Davis, Withey against large lineups. Rivers, Gordon, Aminu/Babbitt, Davis, Withey against smaller lineups.

Substitute using the buddy system: Keep Morrow with Evans, and Rivers with Gordon. Use Roberts is Morrow or Gordon are having off nights. Bring Ajinca and Stiemsma in against second unit bigs from opponent. Use Babbitt against offensively weaker SF opponents, Aminu against the stronger ones. Use Miller mostly with Evans if the opposing SF will let you get away with it, and Miller appears interested that day. When Holiday gets back, give him 3/4 of the minutes that were going to Rivers and Roberts. Keep Gordon's minutes below 25, use him against smaller opposing guards, and make him shoot mostly 3s. Ignore his inflated salary and volume shooting, and let him be next season's Rudy Gay.

I'm very impressed that you listed these lineups.

This is basically what I would do with our current team. Keeping in mind I would use Tyreke in the point forward role where he or Roberts would lead the ball up and then Reke would initiate the offense. At most with this lineup you'd only have one guy in the paint who was guarding Ajinca and if the other team sold out to stop the points in the paint you can kick out to Gordon or Roberts for release valves and they'd be perfect int hat role.

The 2nd unit gives you Rivers, Aminu, and Withey's defense combined with Morrow and Babbitt's shooting. Not by any means an ideal lineup up we are pretty thin so, gotta do what we gotta do. This lineup puts a lot of pressure on Rivers because he'd be the entire initiator on offense, but since I'd plan on using him in the closing lineup Roberts can mix in with this lineup to help with some of the ball handling.

The closing lineup tries to give a mix of shooting to space the floor while putting Rivers in for defensive purposes against the opponents guard. This lineup is meant to keep a lead. If we are losing, I swap Rivers for Roberts because of his better pure shooting ability to try and cut the lead.

The simple truth is, we've got an ugly team because 3 of our top 7 players are out with injury. Anytime you have to give end of bench players significant minutes it's a bad thing.

I see some people starting or playing Tyreke and Aminu together, and you just can't do that IMO. Not only is Tyreke terrible when he is on the court with Aminu, but the team is horrible as well.

Those two, more than any two other players on the team, need to be kept on separate units.

With my line ups there is only one defensive liability in each unit. With tyreke playing with Amniu in those line ups It's too many shooters and space for them to leave aminu and for him not to get a decent look and a open driving lane for him or tyreke to operAte.

NO SCORING WE GO DOWN BY 10 PLUS PER GAME.

These platoon swaps people are suggesting are very rare.

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

I'm the only one who believes at least one starter must be with the second unit?
