Thread: Eric Gordon Injury

    Eric Gordon Injury

Is there any word on how he's doing or if he'll play tomorrow?

  2. #2

    Nothing to report here

I am sure Eric Gordon will give it a go on Monday night. You can really tell in these last three games, that he wants to prove himself. I was impressed as anyone that he actually came back after his lower back tightened up on him, with that being said, I believe he will play on Monday.

thanks for the words of encouragement

I'm just gonna throw it out there that I notice him wincing on our second offensive play yesterday. I don't know if it was his knee or back but he looked uncomfortable running

    It happens quite often.
Players who come back form an injury favour their injured limb and therefore tweek something else because they are over compensating.

Sorry, but I just want to put that statment out there....so we dont have to hear all the 'made of glass' comments.

    Good luck EJ

With this team, no news is no news. For all we know he's done for this season and next.

With this team, they already had to amputate his spine.

I'm sure the crack media at the TP will get right on this.

Per Jimmy Smith, he is questionable.

Back injuries suck guys. He may have been able to play thru it the other night on adrenaline but after a couple days its only gonna tighten more.

I'd be surprised if he plays, but if he does play then its not as bad as I thought it was. I had a bad back and I couldn't cough or sneeze let alone try to play basketball.

I had a sudden back problem once when driving to work. I was able to finish, but it was HELL to do so. All I needed was a day and I was back to relative normal. Wouldn't have been fit for strenuous activity though.

    He'll probably sit.

Couldn't help but thinking "That's what she said..." when reading this.

Eric Gordon is very brittle, do you guys think that Demps, the Secret Owner and crew are having second guesses about paying and keeping EJ?

Isn't pulling a back muscle much more common with people whom are out of shape? Eric has been on the shelf for a while and figured this had something to do with it?

    I was wrong...

Just wishful thinking on my part. No doubt the tightness in his lower back is due to the amount of games he has played or lack of. I am hoping that he will give it a go on Wednesday. EJ plays well against the Kings.

Keep the tank rolling. Sign him to a cheaper contract than people were expecting, get him healthy in the offseason, and win a championship.
