    Clippers at Harrah’s!

Thinking our odds are increasing. The entire Clippers front court is still at the casino at 315AM!

Good. If half of them aren't playing and the other half are exhausted, we should be just fine.
    Basketball.

No where near bed at 3am before the game?

    That's professional

That is what they think about playing the Pelicans.
Its just a show up and win game on the road.

Well we are heavy favourites with Vegas so that is silly thinking

For a team that just lost to the Thunder (a team with a worse record than us) and has a record barely better than ours, missing half its players, they know it's not going to be that easy. They're just unprofessional idiots trying to feel better after getting nearly 50 dropped on them by PG13. Hopefully AD and Cousins can give them 40 each as karma for being such idiots.

Who’s the other guy next to DeAndre?

For sure Thornwell, Beverley, Brice Johnson, Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, and Jawun Evans. I️ had to look it up but they were there for an hour and a half from 230-4A so I️ had some time.. Harrell kept getting annoyed that two guys were following them around trying to take pictures. That’s when I️ noticed them from a distance. Half of them wearing clippers sweatshirts. I️ told them “good luck tomorrow” not really meaning it. I️ snuck one pic because it was surreal being descended upon at the bar video poker machines by the entire Clippers bench (yep they were drinking). Deandre photo is from pretty far away, couldn’t help myself.

Funny no Austin Rivers! They must not like him.

Unprofessional? The game isn't until tomorrow night and its not the playoffs. You think this is uncommon? From the stories I've heard from back in the day, today's players are tame and lame. And when I say back in the day I mean way back into the 40s and 50s when players used to drink and smoke cigs all season.

The fact that it's common for players to be unprofessional and that they used to be even worse about it doesn't stop it from still being professional now. You read about the greats (the Kobe's, Tim Duncans, Lebrons, and now Giannis') being so upset they'll stay for hours and hours after a loss at the gym working on the plays they ruined. Hours of stuff. Obviously that's over the top for most players, but there's a middle point between that and going off to engage in late night gambling less than 24 hours before a game.

They were drinking too. And sorry it doesn’t really have anything to do with them being high profile players. I’m under a lot of pressure and stress at work too. And no one would care about me going out all hours of the night, unless my performance suffered. Then I would deserve anything I have coming. So let’s just see how they do tonight, then refer to above picture.

    Clippers at Harrah’s!

Happy to be the guy who eats crow if DeAndre drops 20 and 15 tonight. But he won’t.

I think Boogie was going to eat him up anyways. So, he might as well have fun the night before.

    That would be dumb.

"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."

Who says these players don't stay late after practice? You do realize all of them made to the top level of their games right? You don't get to the highest level by being lazy and "unprofessional.".

What they do on their own personal time is really not your business. They aren't breaking laws or harming anyone.

The Clippers are a bunch of bums. This probably shows why they were never able to win past the second round.

.....At least they’ve been able to frequently get there. Their franchise has been light years ahead of ours the last 7 years, since they took our star player.

I always wonder about the personality defect that leads one to gamble through all hours of the night when you are already one of the richest people in the country. You already have more money than any normal person would ever need, so the thrill must be in losing it.

Honestly, they are used to Pacific time which is currently 2 hours behind NOLA. So of they arrived at 2 it would feel like midnight to them. Not a big deal to me considering the late tip time.

I say this because I live in Hawaii which is 4 hours behind right now (we don't follow DST here). So when we come to visit there we generally stay up really late and sleep in because of the time difference. It's easy to stay up late when your body says its early.

Edit: I'm not the kind of person to go out drinking when I have work the next day but these guys are adults. Let's see if it affects them at all.

Oh by the way how many rounds in the playoffs have the Pelicans been?
