Unless the words out of his mouth are, "My knee isn't 100% yet, but you know, I'm gonna be a man and play through the discomfort anyway."
I mean people have blown our their ACLs and come back in sooner time than this.
I am confused as heck right now. Why would he need a press conference?
I'm kind of hoping its to demand a trade so we can get the wheels in motion to get something for this clown.
I read yesterday that Gordon would address the media today. I have no clue. Really wish I knew someone with the team who could say exactly what is going on.
"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

It's not technically a "press conference", there is just no better word to use.
The Hornets wrap up practice at noon and after practice, Gordon will address the media. He need a day to go back and work on how he wa going to spin this with his people. That's why we got Monty say gibberish yesterday and no word from Eric.

I don't even know what I want to hear from him at this point.

A press conference for spin. Wow.
Joe has said he will have one today. I also read that he refused and Monty had him escorted out, I doubt that though.
"I'm not going to allow my putative owner to answer that question, this is an NBA related press conference. Paul Tagliabue and Roger Goodell have collectively sung their praises of Tom and if uh ESPN has a problem with that tell Mr. Skipper to call me at my office."
If he says what you want to hear - it is a spin.
If he says he wants to be traded - he is worthless.
If he says he is still hurt - he is worthless
If he doesn't say anything - he is worthless.
This about some up how all of you would take whatever happens?
I pretty much agree with this. Unless Gordon comes out and says that he will play Friday and he will give the Hornets their money back for every game he misses over the next 4 years, we will be upset.
But he put himself in this corner with his comments and his actions. I feel no sympathy. I just hope he becomes the player he can be, but I am not counting on it
If this happened, nobody here knows about it.
It's not really a press conference as much as availability. I don't see a podium, and I think he'll just be taking questions.
Last time he took questions about a sticky situation, it didn't go well for him--

And who put himself in position for it to be taken this way? Gordon could have come out after day one of the trade and embraced New Orleans. Instead he hasn't, has been injured (not his fault), goes into the offseason with rumors swirling and says his hearts In phx, then he says he'd be disappointed if we match for the same money, then this? Please stop trying to frame this like the fans are the one painting the negative picture here. Gordon is the Director of this sad set of events. Poor poor Max money Eric Gordon who has a fan base begging him to play and begging to be excited about him to be here. He just can't catch a break can he ?

So what is everyone hoping to hear or get out of this 'availability' today?
