Consider we are playing the defending champs which includes lebron wade and bosh.....I think we looked pretty good both the starters and the bench.

He could learn from the brow and embrace it. Ditch the head band, love the hairline.

Can see it in their body language. They wanna show what they can do vs the champs. Even in a meaningless preseason game.

I honestly think he will look bad in that first game. Like 6-20, 1-8 from 3 type game. Hope I'm wrong.

Seriously. Where was this when he turned the ball over like 3 times against Houston trying to drive. That wasn't guard like for sure. He just dribbled in a striaght line was wasn't bothered by the defense until he was close enough to pick the ball up.

Aminu looked real good in the 1st quarter. Keep an eye on how he plays the rest of the game. Rivers had a few nice drives, but he didn't convert at the rim. That isn't a problem.

    #Hornets shot 44 percent in 1Q, 8/18 while holding #Heat to 26.1 percent, 6/23. LeBron James was 3/9.

You will never be satisfied. You said he could not do it and he just did. He has good handles for a big man. Just admit you were wrong.

    Matters which guards, ask Vasquez

"I don't know if people know — I dislocated my pinkie finger. And [Tyreke] told me, 'You wanna go home or you wanna be here?' I want to be here. And he said, 'All right, then go tape it up and let's play. Let's go. We not stoppin' at no stores. Straight gas. That's what we do, just keep going.'"

Would've been a nice pass if not for the foul.

Forget that blurb or some comment from whoever that mentioned guard-like.

Was that good ballhanding for a player over 6'10"?

It was decent. But If you're talking about handles that set him apart for the majority of 4's no.

All that may be true, but he isn't a "point guard." He will be better with EJ, who I think is a better passer.

Vasquez is like the Hornets version of Mark Ingram.
