Rivers has to come back and take a starting guard spot. He can't shoot and defense is shaky, but offensively he can beat his man and get a defense off balance. Without that, its going to be tough to score. Gordon cant do it all.

LOL Coach focuses so much on defense that I don't even think we have any sort of uniform offense to run... Also I've noticed that opposing teams don't really respect us offensively, they just do man on man defense and it actually works

They should be giving the ball to Davis more inside and if he doesn't score they'll at least send him to the line. 22-8 ft advantage.

Also, we sucked in preseason the year we started out like 10-0. So...not worrying about a damn thing yet.
That's good news can't afford to lose any potential scorers.
Dallas has done a good job of keeping Davis out of the post. He's been only able to get the ball on the high post forcing him to make something happen on his own. They are crowding the lane and allowing open looks behind the arc. We don't have a slasher who can get to the basket and finish with contact. Gordon will change that when he comes back.
Yeah, I hope to God that he can stay even somewhat healthy. We need him BADLY.

Indeed. Ineffectual though he may have been so far, he needs every minute on the court he can get. He's got a lot of adjusting to do. Especially in how to use changing speeds to his advantage. Rightly timed hesitation moves will open up the whole court to him.

Guys we lost every pre season game 2 years ago and then started an 8 game winning streak.
