I saw David Wesley pop into the Starbucks on Harrison the other day. I guess he's moved back to town. Excited to see what kind of a team those two will make.

The game is the story. The broadcasters are not the story. Screaming on the air and signature calls, those things are fun, but the substance of the broadcast itself boils down to the game in front of us.
Shots fired, Bob and Gil. Shots fired. (I'll pretend so, anyway.)

David Wesley doesn't look a day older since the day he left the Hornets.

Hey I was on there too and this dude seems like he's done his research. Smart guy that knows basketball, is well respected and wants to be in the city. Is there ANYTHING else you could ask for from an announcer?

It would be nice if he is an entertaining announcer, since that is the main point of them. If he can educate on why certain plays or situations worked/failed, that would be gravy.

I think Wesley will do more of that as the color analyst. I'm sure Meyers will pitch in but the color analyst does more of that.

Still have no idea how DeShazier landed this gig.

Also, check out that picture of Benson laughing in the background.
