I think the mods appreciate a little honesty.

Out of all the possible free agents we could spend the max on next year, Paul seems to be the only one worth it. Who else is there? Most of the big names are also restricted and I can't see Dwight coming to chocolate city. I keep forgetting that the Clippers can offer Paul that 5th year on his contract. The Clippers would have to be quite awful for him to wanna leave.

Weird thing I've noticed with Anthony Davis: NBA writers universally love him. Even the articles which doubt him regard him as an All-NBA defense guy. YouTube commenters and message board guys can't stand him. The names Tyrus Thomas and Thabeet get grown out a lot. Granted, those fans would be psyched if they had Davis. But it'll be interesting to see if it's n emperor-has-no-clothes things where only anonymous people will go on record against him with observations that mainstream writers aren't acknowledging or whether NBA message board guys are just a bunch of haters with no rational basis for thir opinions.
