Great defence, rebounding, athletcism, driving ability at the PG/SG/SF spots and then great shooting, scoring, length at the big men spots.

I believe my team would win this in 5 games in a 7 game series.

    Went with Detroit.

I feel like Hibbert would abuse Hawes. I hate Bargnani and DWest would beat him up. Gerald Wallace is a good enough defender to limit Deng some. Allen and Iggy somewhat cancel each other out. Parker and Rondo is a great matchup.

But Detroit's bench is what sets them apart.

Spencer Hawes lost this game for you in my opinion.
Parker and Deng, Hibbert are about even with Rondo, Wallace and Iggy but Pistons have them more spread out in skill sets and positions.
    Benches are even
    but
Allen + West > Bargs and Hawes

Your team would be bullied down low.

Still it was close for me.

Haywood and maxwell are there to stop the bullying and the other 3 are great defenders who can play awesome help defense. Bargnani is being ridiculously underrated here. And my bench is stronger than his bench. Norris cole and aminu have proven nothing this far.

You should have started Haywood over Hawes IMO.

Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams

Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston

Even without that though... He has less redundant talent than you do the players don't cover each others weaknesses, I just like the fit on his team. Your team is a monster on the break but really average in the half court.

    Really really close though again...

It's not like Haywood did much this year either... he's really regressed the last two seasons.

I was hoping for this matchup!

I can not see where his scoring would come from cos Bargs, Rondo, Iggy isn't going to keep up with TP, Deng, DWest and Hibbert. Especially Hibbert vsing Hawes.

Don't forget that the Indiana front court is one of the reasons it got them the 3rd seed in the east. Also I can see that my bench is also a lot stronger then his and probably one of the best in the redraft

    detroit ftw

By FAR the best matchup. I really dont know yet, but I'm leaning towards detroit because I dont know where they get their points from. And Bargs is the only guy they can space the floor with.

Might I add that he has 2 SF's and ones playing SG and both can't create offensively or carry an offense on their own

Suns are being ridiculously underrated here. I have plenty of shooting off my bench and from my bigs. Deng and west are being overrated on his team. Both are mediocre players at this point.

This was a darn good matchup, closest out of all of them IMO. Went with Detroit in the end due to rebounding. Not a glamorous stat but West and Hibbert would get it done and get second chance points, while Hawes and Bargs probaby not...

On a side note, how long will voting be open for the first round?
