I think we're assuming all players are healthy, but i'd go dirk here. He's proven he can be the #1 guy on a championship team none of the others have, with the exception of maybe Rose.

I pick Chris Bosh next. Not sure which team. Not sure if I even have a pick.
Emeka Okafor - Joe Smith - Carmelo Anthony - Manu Ginobili - Jason Williams
Al Jefferson - James Posey - Aaron McKie - Shaun Livingston
haha, no i think those who are out for this whole season aren't eligible. If that weren't the case i'd draft Roy, Oden, and the Sun's medical staff. I can't speak for Rbow though, but i've done this before and this is how it worked.
yeah its assuming everyone is healthy, Roy is retired so he's ineligible

But if Oden's healthy...
umm I guess no drafting players who have missed the whole season, we don't know how to rate Oden
We'd need:
1. A forum for the sim league
2. Someone to run it (and knows how)
3. Enough active members
But if we could get those things, a sim league would be excellent. I'm not sure if there is more than one, but the one I am apart of right now is fastbreak basketball
I'm in one where someone sims the season on 2k12, its alot of work for the simmer tho
sim league sounds cool. whats a sim league? how does that work?
It's basically you get control of your own team, so you are the GM.
At the start of the league you do a fantasy draft (kind of like we are doing right now) but it's starts at a certain year. So like you could start the league during the 1992 season and someone would draft a rookie Shaq, Michael Jordan would probably be the first pick, all the current players during the 1992 players would be eligible, etc. So you draft your own team, and from there you manage them.
During the season you set your depth chart and you go against the other teams in the league in like a real season. All star weekends, rookie of the year, player of the week, player of the month, MVP's, etc etc etc. Then you have the playoffs just like the real league does. Eight teams in a bracket.
Then the offseason comes and you get to choose if you want to resign your guys or not, there is a free agency, you do the next draft, and so on. Of course you are open to making any trade you want with any other GM as long as it is in line with the cap rules.
And you just keep doing that until you don't want to do it anymore. Like for the one I am in we went to next years draft, and now we are about to start over in like 1992 or something. So basically you draft your team in 1992 and then manage them all the way until 2013. Players retire, players get hurt, you trade guys, etc etc etc. It's super realistic.

That's the league index for the league I'm currently in if you want to check it out, I'm the Kings btw.
the one I'm in is yearly, we started with real nba rosters in 2009 and we use all the nba rules for salaries, trades, FA, etc and someone puts our rosters together on 2k games and sims the season
its alot more complicated, if someone wants to run one I'll join, but i just wanna do this for now

Can we sticky this please so we don't have to go searching for it every time.
Also can we make a rule that if you miss your first pick you are out of the draft, that way we can save some time please otherwise this will take a few months and people will start losing interest. As long as you make your first selection in 24hrs you are in for good, if you miss it you are out.
Did anyone message Perth hornet. He only has an hour to pick
