Animal time!
The New Orleans Herons?
The Black Bears?
Something with Red Fire Ants?
The Catahoula Hounds!(Boom!)
R.I.P. to HunnyB/FlyGirl
Riverboat pilot....Don't think goggles will be necessary.
The New Orleans Blue Crabs.
Now I'm done lol
I have the name that is the ideal fit for our team and it only involves one letter change - - CORNETS!!! Cornets represent jazz, which is synonymous with New Orleans!
I don't like the Krewe, i don't see something like that attracting free agents and being marketable. To these young players sometimes it is all about the style.
We just need something that we see all around us . . . like Tigers.

If only I had the clip from Beverly Hills Cop II when Eddie first meets Bronson Pincho! "Surge?" "It sounds like a detergent!"I remember coming up with Storm Surge two years ago and it didn't fly well. I wonder why.
Names like Surge and Hurricanes... you might as well call the team the New Orleans Dead Bodies Floating in the 17th Street Canal.
