those guys aren't Truck Robinson & Gail Goodrich but a trainer who worked for the Jazz here and 14 more years in Salt Lake city, and the guy who played for the Jazz the last year they were here and went on to coach Southern, I think they might have said Tommy Eagles.

I've forgotten who the other guy is.

Sorry about the names thing. I was going by the names in the Horents press release and it doesn't even include everyone. Obviously there were some changes made after the release was printed.

    Excellent pics!

Anyone know when Pete passed away? His kids don't look like that old.

I dont know when he died, but I do know how he died. He was practicing with Dr. James Dobson (head of focus on the family) when he colapsed due to a massive coronary. He died at the spot. :tears:

I believe he was only 40 years old when he died. I think it was great that New Orleans had a chance to show his widow and particularly his sons how much we loved Pistol Pete.

Man oh man.....It sure would have been cool to see him play in person. Kudos to the Hornets for this very classy move.

It was wonderful to see him play in person. He was so far ahead of his time! He was one of the most exciting players to watch ever! He was such a "showman" that he was offered a position on the Harlem Globetrotters at one time. I am glad to have had him as part of New Orleans' NBA history! #7 "Pistol" Pete Maravich R.I.P.
