One pre-game (it's the sticky and has links to the rest)
One game
One Honeybees
One Pistol Pete/N.O. Jazz tribute
But here's the Honeybees by popular demand. Dial-ups beware!

GAME ON!!!!!
There was a surprising amount of open seats in the100 level. Primarily right behind the Hornets bench. I questioned this too. Aren't those tickets usually for family, employees, etc. of the team? Otherwise , it looked like a very good crowd. It wasn't bursting at the seems, but full nonetheless.
Nice job covering the game SW!!!
SW,
Great job on the pics. I had an AWESOME time at the game. I know that all the games will not have all the pre game festivities and the great halloween stuff outside and such, but the hornets did what they had to do to start out on the right foot with the NOLA community and I believe that if the team plays this way all season, tix will be extrememly hard to get for years!!!
AGAIN thanks to Dream 34 for getting me the tix to the game and the oppourtunity to see future games...
I really thought the crowd was loud and into the game.
Give yourselves a pat on the back NOLA, WE showed the world that New Orleans can and will be a great market for NBA basketball!!!
They had to put red tape over the name Charlotte!Originally posted by say-what
#20 - The Hornets' Blimp
They didn't try to go to the 300 level, although they could have made it if they wanted to. They only took the blimp out once during a timeout. Not enough time to explore the whole arena. Also, Hugo couldn't reach the 300 level with the T-shirt gun or the backup rubberband method of dispensing t-shirts to the crowd either.
are your seats courtside saywhaat?
that cool that the hornets issued a press pass to this site. Do will the pass rotate around to other members on the board like HH or GA?
We have to request the pass on a game-by-game basis. But we will rotate use of the pass, so you can look forward to other members of the site (i.e. admins and moderators) posting their gameday experiences. We are going to start out covering what we deem to be big games, but y'all will know when to look for our exclusive coverage. Opening Night was a given!Originally posted by BD4_3

I still think that is a good gesture by the hornets towards this site. Hope they allow that to continue all season
It's a Nikon CoolPix 990. As with many digitals, it has a habit of bluring some pics if the lighting isn't just right - or there's too much movement. I have several shots that would be great but can't use them b/c they are way too blurred. But that's why I take alot of pics so I can be sure to have something.Originally posted by CharlotteDude
Nice shots - what kind of digicam did you use?
Maybe I just need to get a little better using the camera - I'm not exactly a photo hobbiest, just a casual picture taker trying to get better.
