Jameer Nelson is a godsend

a win's a win
now I can go back to being in sport bliss
"The pelican is fearsome. Take a raven, for example: it's omnivorous. It eats bugs, and seeds, and fruit, and carrion. Compared to the well-rounded citizen that is the raven, the pelican is the serial killer of birds." - Barry Petchesky, Deadspin
Somehow this win feels like a loss.
RIP #13 Bobby Phills
Thank you, Jameer! St. Joe’s finest. Lol. I can finally breathe again. That was a long quarter.
RIP FlyGirl
NOP-LAL game is clear example of why Jameer Nelson stays employed & remains effective: He knows how to run a team. That’s no simple task

I'm taking this as a positive, I don't care.
We usually lose games where we blow it. We sucked it up, came back, and won the game.
FINALLY we win a game within the first 5 games of the season. Gentry's seat should be feeling at least a little warm though, after nearly blowing it.
Dang. Now General Disarray and Jrue both keep their jobs
Cousins and AD looked weird tonight.
So...a good win followed by a terrible loss followed by a gut check comeback.
Having more depth is a positive. Now a three man team lol
Just this. The Lakers were running us out, the pace was getting out of hand for us, it was obvious some of our guys were panicking. Shots were coming from awkward isos and it all looked off. Nelson comes in, drags the pace down, makes some smart passes and intelligent shots, all of a sudden the win looks clear again. This is why you cut Crawford for Nelson.
Lakers went small and we had no counter. I took Gentry literally the entire 4th quarter to get the ball out of Jrues hand and let Nelson operate the offense and we finally started to hammer the lakers in the paint
Dell Demps PLEASE get us some scorers!
We just did, friend. You're gonna wear out specific letters in your keyboard or on your phone sweating the money we paid Jrue.
It happened. Maybe in time, as guys like Schoeder, Elfrid Payton, and possibly even Eric Bledsoe get their deals, Jrue will slot right in with them too.
I’ll take Jrue at 6-11 shooting with 15, 5, and 5 every night along with solid D.
His game will look better as he transitions to full time off ball and secondary creator.
