We get off to a 3-7 start or something and in this West might well be done. Hard to fathom.

One "positive" of the Rondo injury is if he does end up having surgery then he would be our 4th injured player meaning after all 4 miss the 3 first games we would be able to sign a temporary player to take one of their places until one is able to return.

The injury itself is not what worries me. It's the rehab. I hope Rondo knows a few good men (or women) from his previous stops. Trust, but verify my friend.

I'm guessing you don't remember the Baron Davis injury years, the ending of both Mashburn and Peja's careers, Tyson foot and it's magical heal after leaving, CP3's long list of injuries, David West's back and blown out knee etc etc etc. Happened well before the Pels became a thing.

Careful.... there was a time when mentioning Tyson Chandlers career ending degenerative toe was a bannable offense around here.
