Odds of a 52nd pick making the team aren't very good. Wonder if we're doing this so we can trade two 2nd round picks instead of one?
You knew we weren't gonna do nothing.
Frazier couldnt shoot but I'm kind of confused.

looks like we get a $2.1mil trade exception out of it?
This trade makes little to no sense
Frazier is not good hate to tell you . They are up to something what that is im not sure .

This pisses me off man. I know Frazier isn't a make or break player, but he's a legit backup.
Honestly, this isn't a big move but any value added is a good thing.
Frazier wasn't going to be an a part of getting this team to the next level so moving him for something is a good move.
Gotta think another deal is coming though.
Are we working on making space for a major player? We need to move Moore, Ajinca, qpon, 2018 1st, and both 2017 second rounders. For someone good.

gotta get players to stack the roster of the Bossier/Shreveport Riverboat Gamblers
"The pelican is fearsome. Take a raven, for example: it's omnivorous. It eats bugs, and seeds, and fruit, and carrion. Compared to the well-rounded citizen that is the raven, the pelican is the serial killer of birds." - Barry Petchesky, Deadspin
Frazier was limited. He pissed Gentry off so many times with his decision making. Pels can easily do better than Frazier.
I wonder if Demps will sell both of those picks. Are we trying to make space? If Jrue leaves I hope we upgrade. We need to win this season!

People are going a little two far. Frazier wasn't even a particularly good player. He was serviceable. Gave us some good games. But not a make or break talent. I do wish him well on battles to come.
But clearly there's some impetus behind the move. You can straight up buy picks that low in the draft.
Scott Kushner: I am told dealing Frazier is not a small piece of a bigger #Pelicans move, just a straight up trade for now. – via Twitter
With the offense now becoming post-oriented, the Pelicans now must focus their sights on signing G's who can shoot at an effective clip. Though Tim was good at setting up teammates for great shots he wasn't effective in making his own. Hope to see him succeed in Washington.
Quin Cook gives us what Frazier did with better shooting and he is 2 years younger.
Does he have a contact for this season non guaranteed?
Tim Frazier was 54th amongst PG's in real plus minus in a 30 team league. In short, we could do better.
Perhaps Dell has his eyes on somebody he thinks might be avail in the 31-36 range and wants to move up to get. Like he did w/Diallo.
