Thread: Draft lottery question

    Draft lottery question

So if our name doesn't come up at 10 does that mean we're getting a top 3 pick?

Exactly. It also means that Lakers fans will have a collective heart attack. So win-win really.

IIRC if they will reflect the trade that has been made so it's actually if Sacramento doesn't come up by 10 it means we're getting a top 3 pick. Keep in mind that someone behind us could jump so Sacramento at 11 is just as bad for us as Sac at 10.

Great here's hoping their name doesn't pop up at 11 or 10 then lol

    Let's be mean.

Say we get top 3 pick, and 2 others team below the Kings at 8 complete the top 3 (Heat and Pistons for exemple)
This would mean we keep our pick, Lakers pick goes to Philly, and Sacto pick goes to Chicago as it would be out of the top 10.
That scenario leaves Kings and Lakers without 1st rounder and I would be delighted.

Then the Lakers wait for Westbrook, and yes possibly Cousins. Be careful what you wish for.

If you're going to be a doomsday prepper at least put together a realistic disaster scenario.

Odds would say so. However, it is fun to hope.

The Celtics have a 25% chance of winning the lottery.
If you Jimmer it, they will come.

Yeah, that trade by the Nets even looks worse now than it did when they made it.

If the Pelicans got the 1st pick, would the Wizards consider #1 and a future pick for John Wall?

So are we making this the official thread?

PF, maybe we could change the title?

If that happens give Demps an extension. Only if that happens!

It looks great for Boston. It's funny that Garnett and Pierce could give two different championship teams to Boston

The Wizards are an up and coming young team that just made it to the 2nd round. There's no way they are looking to hit the reset button. The only way they do that is if John Wall forces a trade.

I would assume so. Though I'd focus more on Butler.
