Noone wants to see a player get hurt, but this is the break the Pelicans have needed. Now if Westbrook would just go camping and get lost for about 2 weeks....
OKC says Durant’s Jones fracture of 5th metatarsal now has signs of regression & he will also have a bone graft procedure during the surgery

Many Jones fracture cases are repeat injuries, which is not the case for Durant. However, this is also why the Thunder are expected to be cautious with his recovery.
Durant's a good guy.
I hope this foot crap doesn't end his career the way it did Yao.
Durant been gone. If the Pelicans don't do their part then this thread is useless. Any update on Ryno and Jrue?

Mostly just trying to satisfy my OCD tendencies by getting to 3,000 posts
doesn't matter unless we plan to make a play for him in the future, this year is over. No way we get in
Really hope Durant can't heal. You worry about a guy his size who has to do all of the quick cutting he does.
We don't have it in us to seize the opportunity.
Can anyone explain why a phone would change their to there? You'd have to mess up pretty bad. And if you were admitting it was a tech issue and not a knowledge of grammar issue, then why attack him for pointing out the grammar?
So many questions, so few answers in this thread....
I like Durant but this is the break (no pun intended) the Pels needed to give us all hope two weeks ago. By now it'd be pretty wild if the Thunder fell to pieces. We already squandered the opportunity. Nothing but bad feelings because of this news.
I can't be excited about this. Never want to see an MVP go down.
This sucks. The matchup between the Thunder and Warriors would have been so much more fun with Durant there. Now it should be a pretty lopsided series even if ibaka comes back
